I'm recently got a new job as a hostess at a restaurant. I realized that this job is not for me at all! Pairing anxiety with on the spot thinking and having the entire FOH staff blame you really doesn't work well. Also the long hours of standing around don't do me too well either.

How early do you think I could quit without looking like an a s s h o l e 😁 And how do you suppose I go upon quitting?

I just made an appointment with my school social worker and I'm really regretting it. I've never spoken to anyone with my 6 years of struggling with I think is ednos, depression, selfharm, occasional suicidal thoughts, and my best friend died last year.

I promised her that I would see someone before her 18th birthday (which is coming up this january), but I don't trust anyone. I mean it's been 6 years and im still here.

So I teach skating and it's mandatory to wear a hockey helmet on the ice. I really want my industrial piercing and I've waited a while for it. I'm now on Winter break and I have about 3 weeks before my sessions start up again.

Would the piercing be a good idea with the helmet? Would it get caught? I have a cartilage piercing that I got 3 weeks before teaching and it was okay. Just wondering about the industrial?

I'm analyzing a speech and I believe the thesis was stated at the end of the talk. What might the benefits be of stating it at the end instead of the beginning?

I have a job interview and skills test for a skating instructor at the community centre. I was wondering what type of questions I would get and how I should possibly answer? Also what skills will I be tested on?

I wanna purchase a gift for my mom off Amazon. She holds on to my debit card and won't give it to me because she thinks I will lose it haha. So typically I use her paypal and pay er back with cash.

What I want to know is, if I used her paypal, will she know what I purchased? Or just that it was off of amazon and how much.

THIS MAY BE A BIT LONG

So I liked this boy for a while. And about half a year ago, he tried to make out with me and I said no. We both moved on. He had a girlfriend. I liked someone else. Then, he asks to go chill and we were really close and all and having an amazing time, until he basically tried to kiss me again. Note that he no longer has a girlfriend and I still like him. I don't kiss boys unless I'm dating them. It's just something I prefer.

Basically, is he just using me to makeout and stuff? Does he like me at all?

I have a friend. Let's call her June, and another friend named.. Cassandra let's say.

I've been friends with June since grade 7, I'm now in grade 11. We were like sisters. Best friends. Closer than ever. But ever since grade 10, I've somewhat realized we're really not that good of friends.

I, well we, made a new friend in grade 10, Cassandra. Cassandra is a really nice person and I'm really happy to have her as a friend.

Anyways, I don't think June and I are really that good of friends for a few reasons. One, she only calls or texts when she needs something. Two, I don't think she even cares about me. Three, she never invites me anywhere anymore.

She only calls when let's say she needs a ride, or homework, or test help, or some other bulls*it

She never asks how I am. One time I was literally crying my eyes out and it's like she never even noticed. Like Cassandra even knew and I never even saw her that day.. plus she even texted me after asking how I was.

She's always out with Cassandra instead of me. I mean, I love Cassandra, but I feel like June is replacing me with her..

She also sort of always insults me. She never compliments me out of no where. Like.. it's just like I'm invisible unless she needs something.

I would try to ease out of the friendship, but Cassandra is my only other 'close' friend that goes to my school. On top of that, I sit with June every day for lunch. If I'm not friends with her, I'll be all by myself..

My two bestest friend in the entire world aren't even with me.. One passed away last year, the other lives 800 miles away.

What I'm trying to ask is.. how do I fix this. .Can I fix this at all? Don't telll me to make new friends.. because I can't. They all sit in certain groups and I really don't fit in.. believe me, I've tried. Should I talk to Cassandra about it? I don't know what to do anymore.

My name's Melissa. I'm 16. My best-friend passed away of HLH at 16. She was the most inspirational person I've ever met. Her name was Lacey Jamieson and you can find more just by googling her name. I miss her. I've tried to celebrate her life. I've helped others too. But I honestly am out of coping methods. I don't know what to do anymore. I can barely say her name without crying.

Today's her birthday and I swear I've cried basically half the day. I really don't know what to do anymore. I don't have friends in school to talk to because she didn't go to my school so no one really knows who I'm going through (that I can talk to in person)...

It's been about three months.

I'm having a debate tomorrow in class about if Heredity is the main cause of personality development (Nature vs. Nurture). I would rather support nurture in this debate, but I have been placed to argue for Nature. I need as many examples as I could get relating to Nature.

Don't tell me that personality development involves both. I know that. But this is a school assignment and I have to argue for Nature.

Tomorrow's group is arguing about the Social Identity. I'm not sure exactly what, but I need stuff to argue back with. I;m out of ideas.. and I can't find many things supporting nature.
