Josh
I'm an inventor / electrical engineer. I enjoy expanding my knowledge and exercising my mind by researching and answering questions that I normally would not encounter.
How to say "Your guardian angel," in latin.?
I want to close a letter with
"Your guardian angel," in latin. Google translates it directly as "Angelus custos, tua". Is this correct? The comma placement seems odd, especially in a closing.
4 AnswersLanguages6 years agoWhy can't I add a profile photo to my yahoo account?
I know this question has been asked may times, but none of the answers are relevant anymore or resolve my issue.
Steps:
1. From http://answers.yahoo.com/ I hover over "Hi, Josh" in the upper left hand corner and click on "profile".
2. I hover over my default avatar and click "change picture".
3. I click on "upload" and select a small photo.
4. I can see the photo in the small editor, I center it and click "save".
5. Yahoo thinks for a few seconds.....
6. Then I get this error:
This action could not be completed because we are currently under maintenance.
Sorry for the inconvenience. Please try again later.
I have tried multiple image formats and sizes. For weeks all I get is this error. Are they really under maintenance or is something broken? I even made a new bogus account and had the same issue.
2 AnswersOther - Yahoo Products8 years agoWhy can't you read text when you are not looking directly at it.?
You can see it but you can not read it. You can make out objects and identify them, such as the lamp in your periphery, the picture on the wall or the color of the wall behind your computer. All this but you can not read text unless you're center of vision is on that text, no mater how hard you try! (Try it but no cheating!)
