Identify the correct x intercept and y intercept of the equation x + 7y = -21.
x intercept = (3, 0); y intercept = (0, 21)
x intercept = (-3, 0); y intercept = (0, -21)
x intercept = (21, 0); y intercept = (0, 3)
x intercept = (-21, 0); y intercept = (0, -3)
Choose the equation of the line passing through the point (6, -2) and parallel to y = x + 7.
y = x + 8
y = x - 4
y = x + 4
y = x - 8
Choose the equation of the line passing through the point (-4, -2) and perpendicular to y = -x + 6.
y = -x + 6
y = x - 6
y = -x - 2
y = x + 2
Choose the equation of the line passing through the point (1, -5) and perpendicular to y = 1/5x - 10.
y = 5x + 10
y = 5x
y = -5x - 10
y = -5x

I have a lot of assignments to do and it would help me a lot if someone could do this for me !
Type the first equation from the group you selected and identify the slope and the y-intercept of the equation.
Describe how you would graph this line using the slope-intercept method. Be sure to write in complete sentences.
Type the second equation from the group you selected and change the equation into slope-intercept form. Be sure to show all of your work. Identify the slope and y-intercept of the equation.
Describe how you would graph this line using the slope-intercept method. Be sure to write in complete sentences.
In a paragraph of at least three sentences, explain how the graphs of the two equations in your group are the same and how they are different. Be sure to use complete sentences.

1 AnswerYahoo Answers9 years agoI Have A BrainWashing/Mind Control Question. Your Opinon Please ?
Do you have to allow yourself to be brainwashed for it to work ? In other words, when someone is trying to brainwash you, it wont work unless you want to be brainwashed ? that is what my mom believes. I believe that you can be brainwashed without permission. Thats kinda the point of brainwashing. If you were allowing them to do it, then it would just be having a convo and honestly believing it instead of having it being pushed into your mind. who is right ?

Which of the following correctly describes a reaction that forms a disaccharide from two monosaccharides?
Glycogen + fructose → maltose
Galactose + glucose → lactose
Glucose + sucrose → fructose
Maltose + lactose → cellulose
Sucrose and lactose are disaccharides that have the same chemical formula, C H O.

However, these sugars have different characteristics and behave differently in chemical reactions. Which of the following generalizations can explain this?
Disaccharides are used for different cellular processes, and they only take part in reactions in which they are needed.
Disaccharides are different in structure because they are not made up of the same monosaccharides, and this gives them different properties.
Disaccharides are made from the same monosaccharides, but the monosaccharides are arranged differently, resulting in different properties.
Disaccharides have different properties, but the polysaccharides they form when combined with other molecules will have the same properties.
