  • My mother has too many dogs... What can I do to convince her?

I've grown up with a family having three dogs, however, we have always increased the amount of dogs we had after we knew the ones before were well trained and were no problem. My mother and father divorced, and my brother moved home, and soon after we had one of our dogs put down; meaning there was two dogs between two people (we had a medium-sized Mongrel and a miniature Dachshund, both female).

However, my mother then began a relationship with a man who soon moved in, bringing two Jack Russell Terriers with him; a female and a male. They had two litters of puppies, and ended up keeping one puppy from each litter. The Jack Russell also got our Dachshund pregnant, and my mother ended up keeping one a female puppy.

Around this time, I left for university, coming home for holidays. Although, I noticed that the puppies that they had kept were not trained, and they had not kept up the disciplining of the other dogs; they had just decorated the living room and the male dogs were peeing against the furniture, whilst the others were digging holes in the carpet and chewing important documents. And non stop barking.

The eldest JRT ***** also attacked the Mongrel (who is 15 now), and could not afford the vet bills. Nor can she afford to feed herself and all the dogs.

Please, I need help. My mother needs help. How do I convince her it's not cruel to let some go to a loving family? 7 dogs in a house which does not allow pets is... Ridiculous, right?

  • TMJD Treatments?

I was diagnosed with TMJD 4 years ago when I felt my jaw drop slightly, however, back then, it was simply the fact that at times my jaw would lock shut and would click when I was eating (and the left side was lower than the right), when I went to the doctor, they sent me to the dentist, who sent me to the hospital who then said there was nothing they could do. In short, I've never found out what exactly causes it.

However, since then, it has gotten to the point where it is unbearable.

I cannot open my mouth wider then a few centimeters, and when I accidentally do pop/click my jaw the pain is excruciating to the point I find myself getting dizzy. I'm getting very bad headaches, earache and toothache during bad flare ups. Also in the past few weeks, I've started to notice a squeaking noise coming from the left side of the jaw (and although the left side was always the problem, the right side is also becoming a problem).

I have done research for short term relief and so use a wheat bag which only helps when I have it on my face, I've tried using ice which doesn't really do anything, and I've recently begun doing massages to help relieve the pain for a little while.

Now my question (sorry for digressing!), what is the best kind of treatment for TMJD, and how much would it cost in the UK? I'm a student, and so funds are pretty tight, but I can't carry on like this.

  • Itchy Bumpy Rash Over Body?

A few weeks ago I began getting itchy rashes, with clusters of small white bumps. They've appeared on my hands, wrists, back and mainly legs. They seem to travel quite quickly. I haven't really changed anything, so I'm guessing it's not an allergic reaction

Before I go to the doctor, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what it is?

  • Bleeding during sex and feels like friction burn after?

My boyfriend went away for a month, and when he came back, we had sex and found that I was bleeding quite a bit, and it hurt to be penetrated. It also felt like I had friction burn after, which made it hurt to urinate. However, after a while, it stopped. I'm wondering if anyone knows what's going on?

  • How can I get old text messages back on Samsung Galaxy S3?

I've been looking around and have yet to find an answer, but I did not realise that my messages were getting deleted after 200 messages automatically. I was wondering if anyone knew of a way for me to get them back?

  • 14 year old dog shaking?

My 14 year old *****, crossed between Collie, Whippet and Labrador has begun to shake out of the blue. She's also got some teeth problems (we're unsure though - all we know is that she's losing teeth) and losing weight (been to the vets about it, and they say there's nothing wrong with her, save her old age).

However, our Dachshund and Jack Russell terrier puppies (two litters of puppies) began running around the house at the same time this has started, but I am unsure as to if it is connected.

I know I should go to the vets, but beings we cannot afford to go to the vets just to be told nothing's wrong, I was wondering if this is normal for a dog her age, or if I should take her to the vets? She's shaking so bad her teeth chatter. Any help would be much appreciated.

  • Censoring in English Language coursework?

I'm currently doing A2 level coursework about ways in which women and men's speech differ, and while doing the transcripts for the recorded speech I know to censor any swearing, I am unsure of which words to do so with. I would ask my teachers, however, I seem to have ran out of time to do so :(

The prime example I am confused about is the word 'willy', silly, I know, but should I be censoring this? Also, my friend who I used for this coursework was talking about a programme in which the prime minister character was forced into sex with a pig. Although this is quite helpful for the research I am doing, do you think that it is too inappropriate

  • Can I be an English teacher with a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing?

I've got to start applying for university, and thought that it would be good to combine English Literature (which I need to be a teacher), with one of my favourite hobbies (creative writing), however, can I still be a high school English teacher with this degree?

  • Is there any point in trying with this relationship, or should I just end it?

I'm currently in a long distance, same-sex relationship. I come from a very open single parent family in the UK, where my mother has accepted the fact that I'm in a lesbian relationship, whereas my partner comes from a very strict Christian family in the US, who does not know about us. I've known her for four years (the family knows that we are friends, but not that we are that close...), but have only been with her for a year.

I recently found out that I suffer with bipolar disorder, and she has been diagnosed with autism for two years. She's going to college this year, and I'm busy looking for universities to attend next year, and finishing my last year of college; this means that we have very little time to talk to each other, and it feels as though we are 'drifting apart', although she is coming to visit me in two weeks time.

However, I have always dreamed of a big wedding, and having children. I don't like the idea of adopting, or artificial insemination. However, my partner does not want to have children (she sees them as too big of a commitment).

Don't get me wrong, I love her. I truly do. But we just seem to argue all the time. So honestly; do you think that we should work on our relationship when she's over here (for three weeks), or shall I just end it?

  • Do I have a right to be angry, or am I overreacting?

A few months ago, my friends and I were talking, and we all agreed that we would never date a friends ex-boyfriend.

A few weeks later, I found out that one of these friends (who so happens to be my best friend and has been so for around 11 years now) has started dating my first boyfriend, who decided he didn't love me after a few months of being together, granted it was when we were in the middle of high school, so it was a kind of pathetic "relationship".

Do I have a right to be angry at this friend, or am I just overreacting? I feel like I'm angry at her for no reason, but at the same time, she went back on her word...
