I have a new Pentax K-100 D camera. I have two lenses I bought for another camera that both work perfectly on the K-100 D. I also have a set of pentax-K-mount extension tubes for macro photography. When I attach these tube to my camera, between the camera body and the lens, I am unable to take pictures with it. I can focus fine, but the camera will not let me take a picture, as the F reading on the display inside the viewfinder registers a --- instead of a number. This display simply flashes if I try to take a picture, the same way it does if the apature selector is not locked on A when the lens is directly mounted to the camera body. Is there any way to take a picture, a way to get around the fact that the camera obviously cannot recognize the F-setting on the lens? Thanks in advance.
