  • Pregnancy while on the pill?

Hello everyone! I was wondering about other people's experience with this situation. I am on birth control and have been for about 9 years, with the exception of about two years where my husband and I had our daughter. After my pregnancy my doctor changed my pill because I had gestational diabetes and had gained a lot of weight. I've been on the same pill now for four years and never missed a period, things are like clockwork. All of a sudden, this month I completely miss it, I'm currently 8 days late, at the beginning of the week I thought it was coming because I was crampy and bloated but it never showed. I've taken three pregnancy tests but all have come out negative. I'm not stressed or anything, nothing crucial is happening in my life right now, no changes in medication, no anti biotics. Is is possible that without missing a single pill that has worked for me for four years that I could be pregnant?

  • Help with wireless connection?

Recently we bought our daughter a little laptop for kids, it's equipped with Wifi. I have been trying for two days to get it to access the internet and it's not working. This is a Christmas present and I really wanted all the kinks to be out so she could play with it Christmas day. We currently run a private connection that requires a network key, which I have and we have a wireless router, so there's an access point as well. I have tried entering the IP and subnet mask manually as well as the default gateway as opposed to picking it up from the network, but that doesn't seem to be working either. Does anyone have any suggestions?

  • What accents go with taupe?

    Hi there,

We have recently gutted our washroom and painted the walls a natural taupe, it's a very lovely warm colour, it matches the corel accented tiles perfectly. The vanity is dark walnut stain with a large pure white sink. The problem I'm running in to now is I purchased the shower curtain it's cream with gold accents, I'm not sure that I like it, and what about towels? I was thinking a deep red but I wasn't sure. Any help would be awesome thanks.

  • 2001 Montana Overheating?

    Hi there.

My husband and I purchased a 2001 Montana last week (that's right I said LAST WEEK) it started over heating about the second day we had it home. We called the dealership and they paid to have the thermostat, intake as well as those stupid valves replaced (changed them to felpro) We pick up the van last night, big surprise, starts over heating again. My husband turned the bleeders to make sure that the air had been bled from the rad being emptied, and there was a lot of air in them, not so bad when the engine was running, but almost constant for three minutes or more with the van off. The heat is working fine in the van. There were some bubbles coming in to the overflow tank when he turned it off last night, after he started bleeding we didn't see them any more.

    Does anyone have any advice?

  • Help with my dogs recent behaviour?

Hello everyone.. I have a German Shepard/Husky mix, he's about 14 months old. He's neutered, and normally a very lovely dog. The last three nights I have been waking up in the middle of the night to a horrible stench to find that he's pooped on the kitchen floor. This is quite out of character for him, he's usually very good about making sure he uses the washroom outside. He's outside a majority of the day because he is a large dog and finishes all his food before dinner time. He comes inside around 11pm so there's always plenty of time to do his 'business' before he comes in for the night. Has anyone else ever had this happen? Any suggestions on how I can correct the behaviour?

  • I need decorating advice!?

Hey all - I'm hoping someone with a little experience can help me out with a decorating dilemma I have. We have a dark grey fireplace with black tile accents on the sides that is a definite focal point in our living room. Above it is a 42" flat screen that fits the section of wall that it's on perfectly, so we would like to keep this the focal point of the room. I would also like to keep the fireplace the way it is colour-wise. What I need to know is wall and furniture colour. I read that grey is a neutral so almost anything goes. I was thinking like a light grey furniture with a smoke blue wall - medium dark not light or too dark.

Any assistance would be great. The floors are a light oak hardwood.

    Thanks!

  • sore lump in neck :(?

I woke up yesterday with a very sore lump in the right side of my neck- the area around it is swollen - I'm not sick, although I've just gotten over a case of pneumonia about a week and a half ago. I thought maybe a lymph node, but I was wondering if anyone else has ever had this. The lump is little, it seems to move but you can see it if I tilt my head sideways :(

    Any thoughts?

  • VICKS on kids feet NOT a hoax?

My dad first informed me of this- my daughter got sick and was coughing, all the doctors would do is tell me it's a virus and send me home -- I tried the vicks and it was the first night we actually got any rest, it stopped the coughing completely!

    Before you knock it--try it
