Ok I have a 1 yr old american pitbull terrier mix.. I put a lot of time into him,people cant believe how well he listens to me. Well when he has to go out all i do is open the door and let him out "we have an acre of land" usually all i have to do for him to come in is open the door and call his name and he comes running. Not this past week, I call him he doesnt come so i walk out there and he runs the other way, he did this as a puppy, I will not go chase him i make him come sit next to me. Last week he was out near the road, thank goodness we live on a back road where there is hardly any cars but thats not the point when we come in from not listening he goes in his crate and i have been putting a leash on him. Also when he comes to me he gets a treat when he comes inside. I just wanna know did this ever happen where they stopped their bad behaviors and started them again.. Its very frustrating, but am working with him!

Ok I had a miscarriage in Jan, this is the hardest thing i had to ever go through. Ok now every period i dred because of my miscarriage i guess it reminds me of it.. Did anyone go through anything like this? How did you deal with it? nice answers please!

does anyone have a finicky eatter, I started feeding my dog 3 times a day. He is my only dog now we live with family and there are 2 other dogs,we feed them the same time, except at 1:30 mine eats. Sometimes it seems i have to hand feed him first before he even eats or if someones in the room he has to go check them out. Now i feed him in my room alone hes fine he eats it all up.Yes hes spoiled. Does anyones dog ever act like this? no rude answers!

I went to the vets today come to find out my baby has a luxating petella, he said it doesnt seem to be bothering him that bad. He said it he seems to get worse,he will have to go through surgry. I was wondering if there is anyone who dealt with this. I gonna help him anyway that i can without surgery. What somethings that i can help him? Thanks!

Ok i have an american pitbull terrier mix, we go and visit his cousin often,he is an american pitbull terrier. We found out his cousin is treat aggressive, so we feed them in different rooms. Yesterday Rozko "mine" acted aggressive when they were playing tug a war. Yes it was lil visious growl and i yelled hey and took the toy away. When they were lil they use to share their bones and toys. I dont understand why all the sudden they act like this...I dont wanna hear its the breed cuase they use to share everything. They would both have bones they would switch with each other and not care.. same with toys. Is there a way i could stop this behavior? We never leave them alone, always supervised. Be nice thanks

Ok me and my friend got our puppies close together, so they could grow up together.They are american pitbull terriers mines mixed. Well I bring my puppy over alot, so they have each other to play with. I recently bought them both bones they ate them in their own crates. After about half an hour took them out of their crates. (they would eat the bones till they are gone) well anyway they were out of the crates and my puppy was by his crate my friends dog went after my puppy. I yelled HEY and seperated them.(it was because of the bone in my puppies crate) Nobody was hurt. My puppy hasnt been there back since. It scared me, dont want it to happen again. I love them both very much,but i think its best that my puppy stays home. Im wondering what you would do in this situation? Nice answers only THANKS!

Ok i have a 10 month old american pitbull terrier mix, we are planning on getting a kitten, I was wondering if there is a way i should introduce before the kitten comes. Like bring in the cat litter and cat food and dishes. So its not a drastic change. I know he is cat friendly. I dont wanna hear he will hurt it. Nice advise thanks!!

ok this this is kind of a weird question. I have an 8 month old american pitbull terrier mix. when he smells where another dog has gone his mouth shivers and he durls. Is weird has this ever happen to any ones. Do you know why? no rude answers Thanks!

Ok me and my sister-in-law got our dogs close together so they can grow up together. The thing is they play rough, they love each other but there are times that they just nuge each other and play a lil rough. When they get too rough we seperate them. When i take them outside we play fetch let them run and play in the field. Are they going to always be rough or is this a puppy thing.. No mean answers. Thanks!

Ok I posted a question before about jumping,we are working on it. When we go out i tell people to ignore him when he jumps.If he jumps on them they push him off and yell get off, I explain to them this is still attention. Or if you are in the middle of doing something he will jump on you to get your attention. Should i put him in his crate for the first few minutes untill he calms down or keep him on a leash. Hes doing wonderful but its the first few minutes of seeing his guests. Its kinda hard to teach him when they are giving him attention.. It gets quite frustrating,cause if you ignore him he will calm down.. any suggestions?

I have a american pitbull terrier mix his mommy was a brindle american pitbull terrier his father we didnt see I think he is mixed with Cane Corso. not that it matters but tell me how simular this cane corso looks to my boy. his tail curled i have read up on the cane corso's and their tails do that also.although alot of people dock them.

Ok people come on here to ask questions about their babies I see many people blame the breed for the problem. And they are mutts. No jumping,barking, nipping is normal behaviors that dogs have that us owners have to train them not to do. It has nothing to do with what breed or if its a mutt. Why is it nessicary for people to point out its a mutt, or its a bad breed?

Ok i have an american pitbull terrier mix, I gotten him at 6 week, since then he has been around people hes a sweet heart. Everyone loves him.. Ok now the thing is we live in an apartment he is starting to bark and growl at people. He dont in public just when we are home. Is it territorial thing how can i curve this behavior. Ok i have a 7 month old american pitbull terrier mix, i gotten him when he was 6 wks old. Well when we got him he had worms we clear them up, we went back he had them again, and he had a intestonal infection,cleared them up.. Now I think he has them again... I going to take a sample over to the vet on monday to have them check it.. I have him on frontline plus and heartgard..There are cats around my place that like to go near where he goes,I dont take him over where they go,or he will try and eat it... Is there away to keep my baby safe from getting worms.. Please no rude answers! i care about my baby and want the best for him. THANKS

I reacently bought my american pitbull terrier mix a sweater, i gotten it at walmart i was actuallly looking for a sweat shirt, but they didnt have any.so I got him the sweater, Hes busting out the chest.... Does anyone know where i can get a sweat shirt for my baby, that fits his size.. Hes sensitive to the cold i dont dress him up all the time but i want him to be comfy when its cold out,so please no rude answers! Thanks!

Ok i have an american pitbull terrier, he is quite active so I take him out during the day and play fetch for about 10 minutes or more he lets me know when hes tired we come in when he gets ansy we go take a short walk. In the evening we take a 1-2 hour walk. He seems to enjoy it but im i exercising him too much? He is 7 months old and 40 lbs well probably more since 2 weeks ago. He is the runt.

ok i posted a question about the breed of my puppy the pic of him is on a chain i gotten a comment why is he a chain. Its not like he lives on the chain, I put him on their because he likes to wonder to the neighbors. or in the back feild. I check on him every 10-20 minutes make sure hes ok and has water. hes out there for maybe 2 hours a day.Also its a runner,where he can go about 5 ft. I do think it mean to leave them living on the chain. what do you think about the chain thing? are you against it?

ok I gotten my puppy and i was told he was a pitbull now i kinda think hes a south african boerboel. has anyone ever seen both? my baby seems to have wrinkles like the boerboel would on there face. I have few pics tell me what you think? i got his ears cropped i thought he was a pit... I love him either way,im just wondering. no smart answers please

Ok anytime i put anything new up in my house and my dog doesnt notice when he does he barks and growls that it untill show him its ok. Like yesterday I put a kitchen clock up he didnt notice it when he did he was barking and grawling i had to take it down and show him it ok i put it up there. After that he was ok.I think its funny,in a way but does anyone elses dog do this? Or am i just worried about nothing?
