Have a wedding reception starting at 6pm exact (live in CA) :b I'm thinking of not going! I'm wondering if they do some kind of introduction thing first or if the fight starts right at 6pm.

I watched Monster (the movie about the true story of Aileen Wuornos starring Charlize Theron) a couple of nights ago and I feel like a movie has never hit me this hard. For the last two nights I have been almost completely unable to fall asleep because I can't stop thinking about her and the life that she suffered. I'm really suffering from empathy here. I've felt depressed and teary eyed, just in general but especially when thinking about the movie (I'm sure the fatigue doesn't help this, nor does the currently awful San Francisco weather). I am completely exhausted during the day and can barely function, but when I get a chance to climb back into bed, I can't fall asleep no matter how tired I am.

Anyone ever felt like this after watching a scary or otherwise hard-hitting movie? Any advice on how I can be able to get back to sleep again (with drugs being a last resort)?

This has gone on for the last two days. I tried to take a nap today but I only got about 15 minutes of real sleep. I'm a second-year medical student and I really need to get sleep, otherwise I can't function in school and won't be able to study and will fail the Boards or something... ;b

Yes believe it or not tonight I pulled out Final Fantasy III (aka VI) for my SNES (I only have old school systems haha) and started a new game... and I am already STUCK for a reason that has nothing to do with the gameplay itself -_-;

When I was prompted to enter a name for Terra, I did, and soon I realized that no matter what button or combination of buttons I pressed, I could not confirm the name and exit the name entry screen. I repeat, I tried every button on that 15 year old controller. I also put in my other controller and tried every button on that, and that didn't work either.

So people who have played this game by emulator or on the good old SNES - what button are you supposed to press to confirm a name? Start? Y? Is a button on my controller (or both controllers) possibly broken? Gah I'm so frustrated to be stuck by something so basic!!

I'm going to do my best to word this as question, because it's really more just pure frustration.

I am a Gemini woman who is honestly crazy about a Scorpio man who has told me he just wants to be friends. He told me he initially was drawn to me but, as we dated, he didn't feel the same spark I did. As a Gemini I usually have no problem moving onto exciting new things but for some reason I am stuck in this love - and I hate it. I know Gemini and Scorpio is one of the worst combinations in the zodiac, "good only for a one-night stand," but I can't help but feel like I will never meet anyone as absolutely fascinating as this man is. It seems like no other sign is so deep, intense, magnetizing, and sexy!!

I think I am looking for some zodiac experts to help me 1) understand why I am so drawn to someone with whom I'd probably not even get along, and 2) untie myself from this person. What signs share Scorpio characteristics that I'd probably be more compatible with? Etc., etc.
