Obama is sending out checks that will cover a small percentage of the funding that his health care bill is shorting our seniors. He knows his bill has a huge shortfall and is handing out donated money. What happens when his buddies pockets run dry? Where will the money come from, when the next generation is ready to collect?

Florida could use free medicare, especially when they are wanting to expand it. Our state can't afford to educate its children, now we are going to be asked to pay another state's bills. What a deal for the and a kick in the can for the other millions of Americans in the other 49 states.

Chavez is using force to shut down anyone who dares to speak out against him or stand in his way. He is now threatening to close down or take over private schools that will not teach exactly what he wants. We need to pay careful attention to what is occurring because he and Obama govern in almost the same manner and Obama is nudging us down that road.

Obama is now appealing to the religious leaders of this country to drive home his cloudy health care. He is using them as a tool just like he uses the unions. I live 15 miles from a high school that has a principal and a coach facing jail time for saying grace over a meal that no students attended, while our president appeals to our religious leaders to push a political agenda from the pulpit. Which one smells more of a violation of the separation of church and state?

The Government needs to keep itself out of private industry. It has no business starting down this road. Once they start, where are they going to draw the line. If we don't like our carrier, all we have to do is change to a knew carrier.

Would it not be even better if the new car lots could pass the good clunkers on to the used lots for a donation to the charities that missing out on the donated cars and the destruction of an even less fuel efficient, polluting clunker. That way the charities aren't falling short and those who can only afford a used car are still getting decent vehicles. I thought this was a no-brain-er.

There is a new fear commercial showing cars trying to block an ambulance from getting to the hospital. Did the members get a chance to vote on how their dues were spent or was it driven like a union mentality, the president asks and the AARP jumped? If they wanted to spend the money constructively, could they not have simply paid for a time slot in which the questioned parts of the bill were read and discussed?

Let's see medicaid, Post Office, Social Security, Auto Industry-pay to build them and sell them, and four hundred dollar hammers for the military, is there anything that the government touches that does not balloon out of sight? Why is the post office not delivering in hybrids or electric vehicles by now? If Uncle Sam would put the 878 billion dollars into the hands of the people, maybe we would be able to afford to send some mail and they would not need a bail out.
