Ive ordered a ASUS GeForce GTX 580 DirectCU II which has duel 8 pin connectors. My 1000 watt power supply only has 6 pin connectors. Can I do anything?

Whenever I try to turn it on nothing happens. I have to turn off the power wait 10sec...turn on the power wait 10sec..and then press the power button and it turns on. It then takes me straight to the Bios and i have to press boot from hard drive. Its works fine after this. Its really annoying because i cant overclock my CPU for some reason

It doesnt say i have any errors in the bios.

When i play Black Ops its really laggy and annoying to play. I have no problems playing MW2 and BFBC2 on max settings.

Built my first computer yesterday. Had a few problems but it worked out in the end. But the CPU is goes to 97 Degrees.

I did have to take of the CPU fan and put it back on again...could this have an impact on the thermal grease??
