she is on EE and the phone is a galaxy S4. Her son has removed it we think but not sure how to restore messaging to her phone.

since changing to windows 8 I am struggling to do anything useful with my computer. when I plug the phone in it asks me to connect to the PC using USB but then the files on media card are not displayed either o the phone or in picassa. I do not want to use windows media to display my pictures as it is about as good as the rest of 8.

I have W8 and a JVC GR-d860 dv video camera. I am trying to use it as a webcam but it is recognised but not operative as such. Any ideas?

I keep getting problems with windows 8. My mouse goes jumpy (tried a new one and it goes the same every so often )and it tells me to refresh windows 8. each time I lose everything from Microsoft office professional to McAfee security which I then have to re install. I lose Google chrome to Picassa- absolutely everything.

I use my computer for my business and this is both time consuming and I am afraid of losing all my records. I really regret upgrading. Does anyone else have these problems or know of a fix. Desperation setting in.

I just installed windows 8 and now cannot find any way of turning off my computer except by pressing and holding the power button manually. Used to get the option to install updates, turn off or restart. where have they hidden it?

BTW does anyone else think windows 8 appears child like and over complicated to find anything?

From somewhere I now have something called bearshare that sometimes hijacks my searches and re routes them through Google. This often causes IE to freeze up and requires closing down.

I cannot find any reference to this bearshare in my computer programs and am therefore unable to delete it. Has anyone else been attacked by this pesky creature and if so how did you exterminate it? It does not show up as a virus when doing scans using McAfee and seems able to penetrate my firewall at will.

Is there any way of stopping the flashing TomTom advert as it has given me a headache and is making Yahoo virtually unusable for me today.
