With the rate we are spending money there will have to be either massive public sector cuts or massive rises in tax or both, in the medium term. Can anybody see any light at the end of the tunnel?

i am trying to install a replacement sata drive onto my PC.
after I loaded the sata driver and then start loading windows after about 5 minutes, the windows install will abort because it can't see the new drive.
so have I got to change the bios somehow because I can not see where, or do you think the new hard drive might not be compatible. I know the hard drive is o.k because I hooked it up to another pc. Or do you think I am using the wrong driver I've tried lots. Or is it something else.

6 AnswersOther - Computers1 decade agowhy is it that we are not worried about inflation anymore?
The price of oil and other commodities are all rising alot, should this not mean that inflation should be a big concern. I go to the shops and I notice that the price of basic goods have started to rise noticeably over the last few months, but if I look at the official inflation figures they are low.
I would think that the central banks would be worried, but they cut interests rates. We seem very concerned too keep house prices high. I can see a crash would be bad, but so is not being able to afford to buy your first house.
Can anybody explain whats happening as I'm confused.
