I was wondering if there is any OTC potassium-channel blocker? I was given a prescribtion for Ampyra and my insurance doesnt cover it. It would be $1,400 a month for it!! I have MS and want something to help me walk better....ANY ideas??

I have been taking tramadol for.a few months. By what I have seen and read online it says not to just stop taking it. I have been trying to get myself off from it myself with lowering my dosage. My doc gave me baclofen last week for signs of MS. I'm still waiting on test results to come back to confirm it. I have been taking them 2-3 hrs apart threw out the day for the past week. It seems like I could have a side effect from it..?? Tired,dizzy,nausea, serve hot flashes. I dunno if its a side effect from the baclofen or if its from me taking them together. Can they be taking together threw out the day??

i have had MS for 2 yrs now with no treatment. I finally found a Dr that says its MS. I did a MRI and spinal tap today to confirm it. I go Thursday to get my confirmment. I know a treatment plan will be set up. What kind of meds will help my balance and help me walk again?? What works best?? How long did it take?? It would be nice if it was only a couple days!! I just want my life back since its finally figured out.Is it bad that I went untreated that long...?? sorry all the questions..

I went to a Nuero Doc Tuesday for a cyst in my thigh. She asked me why I was there did a examine on me. She then told me its more complex then I thought. She looked over some of my MRIs I brought with and said I have MS. She showed me the diff spots in my head MRI that shows I have it and I have all the signs of MS. She is 100% certain that's what it is. I go Tuesday for some more MRIs and the spinal tap to confirm it. I have been struggling with this for 2 yrs and its doc after doc..none could give me any kind of answer. I believe my symptoms are serve!! I did read on it I know I have MS...how long for the meds to work..and have a "normal" life again???? I really want to be able to walk normal again with no pain and no balance problems????? If there's anything I should know or ask the doc when I see her??? Please any help

I got the miren put in Jan I was at 107lbs, now Im at 126lbs. I have never weighed over 110 but when I was prego 135. My eating has changed Im eating smaller portions and very healthy. I dont really snack and If I do its healthy stuff. Sometimes I get so bloated looks like Im 9 months prego. The docs keep saying its "gas" Im not sure if this is related but I always get strange feeling pain/numbness/weakness in my right leg. I have had so many test done they cant figure it out. I was reading on here and there is some similar side effects. I am getting it taking out. I was wondering if anyone had similar symtoms anf if it went away or got better...and how long?? I also get mood swings...the sweats..I think depression

Has anyone had NF2 around/on female organs? I had a MRI and CT scan and there was 3 tumors on the Fallopian tubes. I recently gave birth 5 months ago and the pain seems to be more intense. It seemed to possible spread? Also got pain in the cervix area. The pain can be so intense...everything came back normal with blood and urine.

I was leaking watery yellow fluid last night, it has a funny odor to it. I know i didnt pee. My urine has been clear. Today i havnt leaked anything. Having some cramping on and off along with tighten in the stomach that last bout 30 secs. My doc did rip my membranes and dont know if i passed my plug yet...Is this normal??

My parents are going camping in the summer time. They will be crossing the canada border from mn. They know they need a couple forums of ID but are unsure if they need proof of items they bought in the US...example...laptop, cameras, flat screen tv ect...does everything in the trailer need to be documented?? my last period was 12/6 i belive i ovulated on 12/22 ...my temp went from (cycle day 21) 98.1 down to 97.5 back to 98.1 then 98.2 im 8 days past ovulation...not due for my period for 4-5 days could the dip be implantation???

I am going to start my first dose of clomid, im doing it 5-9 but im taking a half a pill all 5 days....should i take a whole one on one of the days?? and how soon after should i start ovulating, my cycles are not normal 28 up to 35 days, my last one was 31 but ovulated on my 20th which i was told it was not normal. when should i start having intercourse ????
