  • Got a quick fix for my network needs?

i am one person with 2 six-year old xp desktops formerly on a LAN. 2 months ago i got a a new windows 7 desktop and and have been trying to get my LAN connected with no success for moving all the files to the new computer. i can get 2 to share but not 3. i am tying a sync program but only with limited success. i thought it would be cool to backup all 3 computers to an online backup company and then put the files on the newest computer, eliminate duplicate files, eliminate out of date files, and then upgrade the xp computers to windows 7 so they all can get along on a network. but i see that this is not affordable as there is a per computer price and backing up big files is a manual process which i am afraid would put a damper on my new christmas kodak play sport camera files. instead, must i buy a NAS with a big hard drive to hold all my files and consolidate and run the files off that? instead, is there a better cheaper way to make my network needs a reality with a user friendly download software?
