  • tinted yesterday with solar gard quantum, cloudy look, tons of tiny bubbles?

Hello. I recently purchased a 2011 Infiniti FX35 Solar Gard Quantum 28 pre-cut tint kit for front windows of my suv. I installed the film during warm weather yesterday. At first the job looked great, no bubbles, no creases, super clear. I have been tinting windows for a long time, and worked with films of ASWF Excel, ebay film, and couple other brands, even GILA =) I didn't see so many tiny bubbles, only a little amount in the first 3-4 days. I decided to go with Solar Gard, because of it's awesome look and quality. This is my first time using Solar Gard films! A while ago, my Toyota was professioanly tinted with HP supreme in a tint shop and the first few days it had cloudy look, and many tiny bubbles in the center of the glass. In a month it all went away =) Today in the morning, I noticed that my window has a cloudy look, and tons, tons of tiny (very small sized, with the outline of bubble under tint) bubbles all over my two front windows. They don't look like air bubbles. When I was installing, I squeeged with my blue max 2-3 times hard to get all the moisture out, and all edges too, weather was at it's best. I used my typical solution of water and j and j baby shampoo, always worked great throughout my experience, no problems. Is this normal for my film to do that? I know that it is a metalized film, and will dry out longer. But is it normal for Solar Gard to do that (maybe adhesive)??? Will this go away?

  • Infiniti dealer puts cheapo wipers on my fx35 saying its oem (Genuine) for full price.?

I own a 2011 Infiniti FX35. I never changed my factory wipers for 3 years. The blades recently stopped cleaning the window well, so I went for a replacement. I told them that I want new OEM Genuine wipers (they took both of my oem wiper arms to "replace" the BLADES), or just the blades themselves. Since it was dark yesterday, I didn't notice the new wipers, but today in the morning i notice that these aren't my arms, but some bad looking, thin, I think either Scion or some other brand wipers. They look very badly. They took my good looking wiper arms, and put these as a replacement. I payed $25 bucks for this crap. Should I go back to dealer to ask for my old wipers back??? This is not cool for an Official Infiniti Dealer. I bet they took these crappy wiper arms +blades and put it on my Infiniti, and they WILL take my good wiper arms, remove old blades, plug in new ones, and sell them on ebay for $40 bucks! Any suggestions?

  • What to do to damage my tint and get warranty replacement?

A while ago, I got my Toyota tinted with a 35%. It looks terrible!, and I have a feeling its a 40%. Is there any way to mess it up so I can get a warranty replacement and go lower like 5, 15%. I know its dark and all, hard to see at night etc... I just want privacy because the current tint is crap.
