  • F1 status advice. Hi, im currently out of status on my F1 due to academic reasons?

    My final goal is to get a Masters degree from a US univ.Im not sure whether to go for reinstatement or not. I've read somewhere that if you do apply and the judge declines the re-instatement then your I-94 would be stamped and you'd be asked to leave immediately as youd start accumulating unlawful days after the judges ruling. but if you dont apply at all, youd be out of status but you still havent started accumulating illegal days. I have a couple of options : 1. I apply and get reinstated and continue.

    2. I do not apply and finish my associates degree (im in a community college and I cant take a transfer since Im out of status) and then return to my home country, finish my bachelors there. But then I dont know if I'll be able to come back to the US as i'd have over stayed.(but have i really overstayed since the judge didnt rule anything yet?)

    ok , it sounds complicated already. so ill end it here. any suggestions?
