I'll try not to make this too long...I met this girl in an airport, she looked me up and Facebooked me a few weeks later. She sent me her number and we went out. A week later I called her and we went out again. We were supposed to go out a week after that but she cancelled, saying she had to work late. We left messages back and forth for each other and she texted me a week later. Last Monday I texted her asking if she wanted to go out again Tuesday after work and she said she had plans but that I should let her know if I want to meet up later in the week. I suggested we meet up Thursday and didn't hear back from her for a bit. I thought things had run its course but she texted me back today saying she was out of town and didn't have cell phone reception. My question is this: is this girl into me or not? If she is, why is she so unavailable to go out? If she isn't, why is she still staying in touch with me?

I'm a big fan of Yahoo Answers and I check every once in a while to answer questions, especially boxing ones.

When I looked today though I have to be honest, what I saw sort of made me sick. I guess that's the problem with the internet these days is that any joker can go on and post whatever he wants to. The threads up here about Mayweather-Pacquiao, Mayweather in prison, horrible, tasteless references to Mayweather getting raped in prison, outright racism against Filipinos and African-Americans, is disgusting. I don't care if what fighter you support (or if you don't support either of them) but I just hope some of these posts can stop. It's so counterproductive it's not even funny.

Don't post your subjective and tasteless crap on here, engage in an intelligent and factual debate without acting like a clown. I come on here to intelligently and objectively ask and answer questions, not to hear this mindless babble that people are posting. Anyone else agree?

There's a girl I'm in class with who texts me constantly and smiles at me every once in a while in class. I think I'm getting good vibes from her and I feel like I should ask her out. Is it possible that she is just being friendly though and actually isn't into me in that type of way?

On a side note, I texted her last night to ask her a question about class and she just responded with one word answers like she didn't want to talk. Is there any weight to this at all? Perhaps she was busy or is she just sort of trying to tell me something?

I randomly met a girl at a sporting event nearly three weeks ago. We hit it off right away, I got her number and she literally texted me every day. The next weekend I took her out to dinner and I thought it went pretty well. Unfortunately, I'm beginning to think she doesn't feel the same way. After the date, she stopped texting me and seemed to beat around the bush when I asked her if she might want to go out again over the weekend. Maybe she just actually is busy, but maybe we're just on different levels here. Should I cut my losses here and give up or try to get in touch with her again?

I'm a 20 year old male and have been thinking about it for a while and I'm pretty sure I want to get my ears pierced. I talked to some friends and parents about it and sort of would like to do it within the week. Couple questions I have: where should I get it done? From what I've researched, I guess getting it done at the mall by a piercing gun is a bad idea. Should I instead get it done at a tattoo & piercing parlor? How long do I need to keep the earrings in for? From what I've read, it seems 4 weeks is enough? As it is, I'm playing in a rugby tournament in two weeks. Would it be bad to take the earrings out for just one day? I'll definitely have to take them out for the day, would the holes close if I did? People have asked me why do it before the tournament? Frankly, I'm just pretty excited to get it done. Secondly, I want to be able to safely take them out with ease before I start work in 5 weeks.

In the past she has taken a while to respond due to her busy schedule. Also, I randomly got a friend request from a girl that I take to be a friend of hers from back home (she's the only one who's a mutual friend, I figure she must've told her about me). I kind of figure if she's telling people from back home about me, it might mean she's interested. Thoughts?
