OK...I can't find any advice on the internet about this one. I have been with the same guy for 9 months, and just got a call from my doctor that I have HSV-1 and HSV-2. I haven't had any oral symptoms at all, and have only had vaginal symptoms that made me think I was having a yeast infection (red, a bit itchy..etc.) My doctor said that some people don't have outbreaks, some people have horible outbreaks, just depends on the body's immune system. Because some don't have symptoms, they can spread it "asymtomatically". She also explained how men more often have it without knowing, because even if they get a red spot, often they brush it off as an ingrown hair, especially if it goes away quickly. I have never noticed even a slight redness or cold sore or ANYTHING on my partner, so I believe he falls into this group. Any advice on how in the world to sit him down and talk to him about this? Everything I"m reading on the internet deals with talking to a new partner, before you have sex. Please help!

I'm going to Supercross with a guy I really like. I'm normally a total girly girl and I feel like nothing in my closet is right. Help!!!!

I need some outside perspective. I am going to give the details as objectively and accurately as possible. I am seeing a guy that I feel stands me up alot. Today, I feel like it happened again. Day before yesterday, we made plans to take our kids to Chuck E Cheese tonight. We didnt' set an exact time, but we did decide to go around dinner time tonight, and we would set down a final time today. He called me yesterday, and we spoke briefly, (I was busy with my mom) and he said he'd call me back later that day. He never did. Finally, he called me at 1pm and I was in a movie. He left no message. I called him back as soon as I got out, at 2pm. He didn't answer, and by 4pm, I still hadn't heard from him. I sent him a text, basically like, "seriously? you're skipping out again?" and he called me right back. I was so frustrated, I didn't pick up (not the first time he's done this). He called back again a few hours later, and tried to talk like nothing happened. I expressed how I was very disapointed that he let not only me down, but also my daughter. He acted like it was no big deal, said his phone hadn't been working very well that day, etc. I said, "but you did it again!"" and he ended up hanging up on me.

I know this sounds pretty cut and dry, but he's always making it seem like I'm drama. I'd really like to know all of your opinions.

It's awful!!!! I have a date with a new guy tomorrow and he's going to think I'm a FREAK. PLEASE can anyone tell me how to at least make this fade???? Loofahing my hands isn't going to make this go away...please help!!!

MSNBC is reporting that Dr. Phil is being investigating by the State of CA because he isn't licensed to practice psychology there....so ....is he even legally allowed to have a show??? (it tapes in hollywood..) And isn't this perhaps something SOMEONE should have checked out at some point?? If your endorsed by Oprah....does that mean NOONE checks to see if you're even freaking licensed?!?!?!?!?

I have had some pretty strong feelings for a man for about a year now. At times he acted as if he felt the same way, but never said anything. There were so many obstacles!! He was first going through a divorce, he was my boss, he was seeing someone else for a little while, but finally, when he got rid of all of these things (and left the company) he told me his feelings. He said he was very attracted to me and thought this had serious long term potential. He came over last week and we shared the most amazing kiss....we were both so nervous! Problem is, he is extremely broken from his past relationships. He is closed with his emotions, and has been very upfront with me about it. He said it'll take time, and that we need to take things very slow. It's killing me!! Other than seeing each other once and talking on the phone a bit more, nothing seems to have changed. Is there a "right" way to handle this situation? I really care about this man...do I just give him his space??

What is the point of a presidential pardon?? Why would a president want to commute sentences for people who actually committed crimes?? Isn't that sending the complete wrong message to what this country stands for? Serious answers only please.

What does it mean when your daughter's father (we're not together because he lied about a lot of things, but he says he wants to get back together) comes over to spend time with his daughter, and always gets dropped off and picked up two blocks down from your house?? I asked him and he says because the guy driving doesn't want to drive all the way to my house and also that he doesn't want to get involved with our "drama." It really doesn't sound right, but maybe I'm crazy.

My daughter is 13 months old and I have been gradually giving her cow's milk (whole) for a month now, per her pediatrician. She has been getting really constipated....to the point where I had to give her an enema twice (pediatrician recom.) and a suppository once a week. She's also on laxatives every day (again, pediatrician recom.). I'm wondering if cow's milk could be the source of the constipation?? She still gets one sippy cup of formula, usually once a day in addition to the cow's milk.
