I have lived in London all my life and will soon be moving to Sth Carolina to be with my girlfriend, How am I likely to find general everyday living there, as a Britt am I going to be received in a friendly way ? How about life there in general ?, any advice/comments gratefully received.

12 serial burglars have been spared jail by "Helping" the police. They escaped Jail by providing the police with "Crime prevention tips" which included advising people to lock windows and doors, put keys away, close curtains and not to leave tools laying around.

Det Supt Mark Drew has commented that this has "provided invaluable insight into how burglars operate"

Wow, what fantastic insights into the world of how burglars operate, I would think all other burglars will now think again about there lives of crime now this inside information has been made available to the police.

I hope to be moving to North Carolina soon to be with the women I love, can anyone tell me about what life there is like, especially the Statesville area, what are likely to be the main difference's between everyday life there and here in London.
