  • When copying between two computers, which performs most of the processing?

    I have two computers that I wish to copy two large files (3 GB and 7 GB) between. The one with the files on its hard drive is my "slow" computer (Intel Pentium 4 3.2 GHz, 1 GB RAM) and the target computer is my "fast" one (Intel Core 2 Quad 2.66 GHz, 4 GB RAM).

    If I was to copy those files across the network, where would most of the processing take place? Would it make a difference if I used the slow computer to copy TO the fast ones shared folder rather than using the fast one to copy FROM the slow ones shared folder?

    Additionally is there a better way to transfer files between two computers rather than the network? (Via my network places)

  • Help me find this song, it was in a milk Advert playing now.?

    This song was part techno,

    It's got an electro version of a childs voice I think.

    Some of the lyrics were.

    "maybe its just the way god made me this day"

    And the chorus is an "eh oh eh oh eh" noise.

    Please help I've got this weird habit of tracking down the name of any nice sounding song that I happen to hear, I can't find anything on google.

    By the way this song isn't by Neil Young.
