I was viewing Jupiter with my 40x mag. telescope. I could get it to focus sharply but the image was small. I was able to make it larger, approximately 3/4 the size of the whole view but it didn't show any detail. I am assuming it couldn't focus at that distance. But there were weird specks were all over the image. Some see through, like a water spot on a car, I am not sure if it's dust or anything. If so how can I clean the mirrors and lenses?

Also is 40x mag. enough to see detail on Jupiter?

Or the rings of Saturn?

I have a Meade 390. f1000x, and the eyepiece on it is a 25mm. So if I learned correctly my telescope has 40x magnification power. What can I see in the sky? I don't know if I am just using it wrong but it seems everything still looks really small. I got the telescope for $15 so I know it can't be fantastic. But I figured for a starter this would be good. I'd like to try just getting a glimpse of Jupiter or maybe the rings of Saturn. Thanks ahead for any help.

I need to buy a new fuel pump, I have a 350 chevy engine, a 2 barrel carb, and am wondering what i decent fuel pump should be giving as for GPH. I am not looking for power.

I have a Chevy 350 engine. On it is a 2 barrel carb. Is that ok or do I need a four barrel? I am not 100% sure how the carb to engine size ratios are.

I have an early 80's chevy 350 5.7 engine. I have very little hood clearance and need to get a new assembly to prevent cutting the hood for a hood scoop. I know these engines have some good power and need to breathe, if I get a low profile assembly, will I be starving the engine from air?

I have a chevy 350 and it just fits under the hood without an air filter on top. I can put in smaller engine mounts but that's a hassle, is there a kind of air filter assembly the brings it down to the side? Where can I get one if it exists?

It's a 73 Jaguar Xj6 and I am having trouble finding fuel tanks. It has two and both have some rust bits inside. I can get them off, clean them out, check for leaks, and reweld them, but is this safe to do?

I can't find anything but 22 gallon tanks. I know that there are 2 tanks but they can't both be 22 gallon tanks? That's 44 gallons on the car.

I plan on buying a 64 Falcon Futura. $2200. Runs fine, ready for the road, small spots of rust, paint is in great shape otherwise. Is there anything I should be looking for specifically in these cars? Are there any good websites that will have a lot of information and the specs on the 64 Falcon?
