I'm looking for a basic starter kit for brewing my own beer. Where can I find a store that sells equipment near or around downtown Toronto? My google and yellow book searches have come up dry, as most stores are outside the city (Richmond Hill, Scarborough, Mississauga). Are there any close to the downtown core, or even department/hardware stores that sell these equipment?

I'm a university student thinking about visiting Montreal for a few nights with some friends. What are some really unique can't-be-found-on-boring-tourism-hand book attractions or interesting places to visit? Preferably with as little financial burden as possible, as the crippling grips of poverty is not the most favourable of positions.

Where is Varg Vikernes, of Burzum fame, now? I've read somewhere that he SHOULD be out of jail now, but apparently not. And I've also read that he managed to father 3 children while he's in jail.

So is he out now? And what are your views on this guy?

Where can one get Kava Kava in Toronto? I know that they're technically disallowed but I was told that some stores still sold them under the counter. Does anyone know any?
