Were any white people brought to the new world against their will? Were they eventually put into slavery? I am very curious. Was any other race brought to the New World up against their will to become slaves other than Africans or Native Americans?

I can't get good grades at all. I actually do the work; I work hard. For example, I take an hour while someone will take twenty minutes to do a certain task. It is just that I work very hard, but I do not get the results I want. I am not getting the results I want even though I try hard. I don't have enough hours in the day to all the work assigned to me. Any suggestions?

Hello. Please read fully. Why is it improper to call a darker skinned person black rather than African American, but calling a lighter skinned person white is o.k.? Now, I don't want to get someone angry. I am just trying to understand. I don't want to stir the pot, but I already have. If a person has not identified themselves on what they would like to be called, why call the darker skinned person African American? Overall, I just know that darker skinned people, like lighter skinned people, are from all over the world (not just Africa). White people can be from Africa too (north Africa). If you help me understand, I thank you. I am genuinely trying to understand.

Is it illegal if I say that I am of another enthnicity of which I am not on a national census? For example, if I am white, would it be illegal for me to say that I am Asian even though I have no Asian blood in me.
