  • Im worried that my boyfriend is losing interest in me?

Im not sure if he's losing interest in me. We're both 21 years old and we've been dating for almost 2 years now (it'll be 2 years in June) and we've never really been that intimate of a couple. We're both Christians so we don't sleep together or anything, but we usually hug and kiss a lot! (But not in front of other people... it makes us feel awkward.) Anyways, lately he hasn't seemed that interested in hanging out with me! Or texting me, or going out to dinner with me. (even if I offer to pay, lol) And when we do hang out, there's less hugging/kissing, even on the week where his family was out of town and we had the house all to ourselves! He says he's too busy with school to hang out, and that's true. It's almost exam week and he has a lot of work to do, and he stresses out easily. But the lack of intimacy lately has been scaring me. I asked him about it, and he just says that he's busy.

I really hope it's just stress that is keeping us from connecting, and when exams are over we'll just return to normal. What do you guys think?

  • Why do couples break up?

I've only ever dated one person... and I'm still dating him. We've been together for a year and 5 months now. But just out of curiosity, why do relationships end?

The way I look at it, a relationship could last forever if both people want it to. But I see so many couples break up, and then both people are devastated and I don't understand.

My boyfriend and I have had our fair share of arguments. He's threatened to dump me before, but in the end we always take a deep breath and talk it out. Why can't everyone do that?

By the way, I know I'm being horribly ignorant in my question... but that's why I'm asking :)

  • how to get guys to leave me alone?

I'm a 20 year old girl, who's been with her boyfriend (first ever boyfriend) for just over a year. And ever since I've started working at a gas station, all of the guys have been hitting on me! I really wish they wouldn't do that, lol. There's one guy in particular.... His name is Andy. He comes in probably once or twice a week and tells me I look nice and talks to me. He never makes eye contact though, I think because he's shy. Anyways, he added me on Facebook and I don't want to accept him. But I don't want to make him feel bad by rejecting him. lol.

How do I tell him no without hurting his feelings? I'm pretty sure I've told him that I have a boyfriend before, but I think it was a long time ago.

Also, how do I get guys to stop hitting on me? I tend to be really friendly and I talk a lot, but that's part of my job! I just wish they would leave me alone.... My coworkers are starting to make fun of me because I am constantly being hit on. lol.

  • moving away from home - should I take the dogs with me?

I am considering getting an apartment as I start college. I have two lab mixes (from the pound when they were puppies) that are very close to me. I am the person in my family who cares for the dogs, and I always have. I bathe them, feed them, walk them, etc.

But when I leave, should I take them with me? My family wouldn't object, since I am pretty much the only person who really takes care of them, or even likes them that much... as sad as it seems. They are both females, ages 10 and 11. Both Spayed. They don't have a lot of energy, and don't have any destructive habits. It would of course be a pet-friendly apartment.

  • my best friend is totally crazy for a guy, but it is moving too fast. How do I slow her down?

My best friend is crazy for this guy. He's a good guy, and I think that they are good together. But.... she is moving too fast with him. They only had their first kiss less than a week ago, and now they've hit second base. The thing is that the first kiss was her very first kiss EVER and this is the first guy she's ever dated. How do I tell her to slow it down with him and be careful?

  • I am considering dying my hair with henna.....?

I have never dyed my hair before, and I think it is time for a change. My mom dyes her hair with henna, and I think it is absolutely beautiful. Plus, it doesn't use all of the harsh chemicals that other dyes do. Does henna "wear off" over time? I think it would be good if it did, so I wouldn't have to re-dye it too often (ie when my roots start to show)

Here is a picture of me with my current hair color (it isn't always that pretty. That is a proof of my senior picture)

  • I have a very poor friend....?

My friend is in 11th grade. Her family is getting evicted from their house, and they don't have any money for food. My friend is very hungry. I told her I would bring her some food tomorrow, but I don't know what to bring her. She's a vegetarian. She doesn't like peanut butter or jelly.... what should I bring her? I personally only have $20, but my parents might be willing to pitch in money for the food fund.

  • Net charge of a gas? 1.17 moles of O2, 1/1000000 molecules has lost an electron. What is the net charge?

A container holds a gas consisting of 1.17 moles of oxygen molecules. One in a million of these molecules has lost a single electron. What is the net charge of the gas? (the answer is in coulombs)

All I really want is the equation that would help me figure this out.

I figure this equation includes the constant e=1.60x10^-19

Thanks! This really means a lot to me. I don't understand this and I'm pretty sure we never covered this in class...

  • It gives me a number of electrons and neutrons and asks for the net charge...?

Find the net charge of a system consisting of each of the following.

    (a) 5.47x10^6 electrons and 8.61x10^6 protons

    (b) 247 electrons and 227 protons

    the answer is in Coulombs...

I guess what I want you to do is give me the equation or the tools on how to solve a question like this. If you only give me the answer, I won't learn anything. I need to learn, trust me..

  • what are the telltale signs of an ear infection?

My dog has had ear infections in the past (all in one ear) and I'm concerned that she may have another one. Her ear is sometimes tinted red (right now it matches her other ear, which is normal) and my other dog has been licking the ear a lot. She also twitches her ear around a bit when I look at it, but she doesn't show obvious signs of discomfort. She doesn't do this with her other ear. Do you think this is an ear infection? Should I take her to the vet? What are the symptoms of an ear infection?

  • Polygamous marriage - do wives marry each other or only the husband?

For Bible class at school, we have to plan a fake wedding. There are more girls than guys in my grade, so we have a few polygamous couples. I am in one of those, but now have to prepare the wedding vows. Do the girls marry only the guy, or do they also marry each other?

  • 29 gallon tank... how long to cycle?

I have a 29 gallon tank that used to hold two gold fish until they got ich and died (I brought a new fish into the tank without quarantining it first.) That was about 3 months ago. Since then, I have had the tank empty. I am planning on buying two more goldfish to keep in there, but was wondering how long to cycle it for. And, should I treat the tank for ich while cycling (because of my ich past?)

Also, what are some good places to buy goldfish (feeders) ? The two places near my house that I go to for supplies usually have ill/dead fish in their tanks. Thanks for any advice!

  • Physics help - finding the force of air resistance?

A 0.21 kg pinecone falls 14 m to the ground, where it lands with a speed of 13 m/s. (a) how much work was done on the pine cone by air resistance? (b) What was the average forces of air resistance exerted on the pine cone?

I know the answers are (a) -11J and (b) 0.79N upward. I want you to explain to me step by step how to do it. I'm really tired of not understanding physics.

  • Physics homework help - energy problem. I'm desperate!?

The water slide shown in Figure 8-23 ends at a height of 1.50 m above the pool. If the person starts from rest at point A and lands in the water at point B, which is a distance L = 2.34 m from the base of the slide, what is the vertical drop h of the water slide? (Assume the water slide is frictionless.)

Even if all you want to give me is the right equation, that would be great! By the way, the 1.5 meters given is the tall end of the slide, and the short end is what it's looking for.

  • What do you think about the auto industy bailout?

Do you think it's a good thing or a bad thing? Why? We've been talking about it in government class, and we've talked about both sides of it. I don't know if I like it or not.

  • Am I ready to get a job? / Should get a job?

I'm a high school senior. I'm 17 years old. My grades are ok, but not great. I get mostly As and Bs, but have my fair share of Cs too. My gpa is 2.87. So far this year, I have gotten all As and Bs. I'm taking two AP classes: AP english and AP physics. AP physics is hard, but I managed to get an A in it.

I've been babysitting the same kid for 3.5 years. I've babysat him (and now also his one year old brother) almost every weekend, and even more than that in the summers. If I were to get a job, it would only be on the weekends. I know that during the week, there is no way that I would be able to get all of my homework done if I also worked those days.

I don't know if I should get a job. What are some positives and negatives of getting a job?
