I could get 1 fi Q 15 or 2 12'' Type R's for about the same price. Both would be in a ported box. I listen to a lot of rap and rock. I'll probably be getting a 1000-1200w RMS amp. I'm guessing that the 15 will hit lower but the 12's will be louder? any advice?

Does anyone know where I can download the song "Black Diamond" by "Black Diamond Brigade"? I've tried LimeWire... nothing, iTunes... nada.

Any other suggestions? I will need to be able to import the song into iTunes.

Are these speakers worth the price? They are $168/pair on Amazon. I need some good rears but don't have much money at all.

I am wanting to purchase an Onkyo SR606 7.1ch av receiver. It seems to be an excellent value since it has on-board decoding for just about every HD audio format and also has 4HDMI ports with 1080i HDMI upconversion all for only $399 at Circuit City($600MSRP). The 1080i upconversion is fine with me because my tv only goes up to 1080i. But I have heard that the upconversion is not very good and that it can cause the picture to be jaggy and experience a loss in resolution. I just wanted to know if this was a serious problem or just a minor nit-picky thing that videophiles complain about. I don't really care if the picture is jaw-droppingly gorgeous or whatever, but I want the picture to look just as good if not better than if the component was plugged directly into the tv. The receiver has "Faroudija DCDi Edge Technology" which is supposed to help get optimal picture quality from upconversion... so I really don't know.

I guess what I am asking is, is this receiver worth the money?

Ok so I'm wanting to upgrade my HT receiver. I currently have a 5.1ch Yamaha HTR-5730(a fairly low-end receiver) and I'm wanting to upgrade to a decent 7.1 receiver. I'm looking at Onkyo because I've always heard they are a good bang-for-your-buck brand and I was doing the online comparison of the SR576 and the SR506. The SR576 is $100 more($480) than the SR506($380). And there is no real difference between the two. The SR576 has 5 rms watts more per channel(80wpc x 7) than the SR506(75wpc x 7). The SR576 also supports Dolby Digital Plus... but other than that, they are identical. So is Dolby Digital Plus and 5wpc more really worth the $100 extra bucks? Also if there are any other good 7.1 receivers in the $300-$500 range, please let me know.

Ok I want to buy a PS3 game because right now I only have motorstorm. So first let me say OTHER THAN MGS4, what is the best PS3 exclusive out now? I rented MGS4 and beat it so I really don't want to buy it now(maybe later on when it goes down in price) I was kinda thinking about Uncharted: Drakes Fortune but I heard it's short and doesn't have much replay value. And HAZE is just poop.

So any suggestions? Is Uncharted worth the money? Remember I'm trying to stick to exclusives.

Let me start by saying that I only want people to answer who actually know what they are talking about, not what they've heard, not some rumor, it would be great if an at&t or apple employee say this but w/e. Ok so I'm really wanting to get the iPhone 3G that's coming out in a couple weeks but I have a few questions concerning the contract. So I'm currently on a contract with my mom and we have the $40/month plan and my mom has internet and texting on her phone. We are currently about a year into our 2yr contract(it expires next April) she says that new customers have to pay a fee that's like $300 when they first activate the plan. And I know that they will restart the plan if I get a 3G iPhone. But are we like eligible for an upgrade or anything? Will I have to pay the FULL price for the iPhone if I'm not a new customer? Will there be a huge fee when they first activate our plan? Please Help!

Ok so I am using the 2.4GHz 15'' Macbook Pro and I am wanting to transfer videos from my phone (Samsung SYNC) to the MBP via bluetooth but every time I choose to send the video on my phone it says "sending failed". The Bluetooth on the MBP is set to "discoverable" and there is no security on it. I also have the serial port server set to "file transfer" as it was originally set to "serial server". This is very odd. I was always able to transfer videos just fine via bluetooth on my old aluminum Powerbook G4. Any help is appreciated. 10 pts to best answer.

Ok, so my friend and I were debating over whose car is better overall. First of all we are both 16 and these are both our first cars. I have a 2002 Toyota Camry XLE with the 2.4L 4 cylinder. He has a 1996 Nissan Maxima and his is the top-end model I'm guessing because it has the Bose sound system and automatic climate control. He also has a V6 but I actually prefer my 4 cylinder because of gas prices. My car also has automatic climate control with the JBL sound system. I think JBL is a much better audio brand than Bose but my friend is a bit of a Bose fanboy. My Camry has about 62k while my friend's Max has about 80k on it. We obviously think the car that is ours is the best. I just wanted some un-biased opinions, so what do you guys think? My Camry of my friend's Maxima?

This has been done once I believe but it's been a long time and I figured since GTA 4 comes out exactly 3 weeks from today I would see what you guys(or girls) have to say. I have both a 360 and PS3 but will probably get it for 360 because of the exclusive content and all my friends have 360s so I want to play online with them.

Okay, so I had the Sony w. Ear headphones for a little over a year and yesterday, the left headphone started crapping out and now you can barely hear it and it sounds like crap. They weren't bad for $20 headphones. But now I'm wanting to upgrade to a nicer pair. The three that interest me are the V Moda bass freq. earbuds, the JBL reference 220 earbuds, and the Shure SE110 earbuds. The Shures cost over twice as much but the both the V Modas and the Shures got an 8/10 on Cnet.(They didn't review the JBLs) I've heard that the bass on the V Modas can be overpowering. And I really don't know what the Shures or the JBLs sound like. I'm not an audiophile but I do want great sound quality. I've also heard the Shures are quite duranle which is good because I would be using them every day with my iPod. If there are any that are better for the money that are in this price range($30-$100) let me know.

Ok, I'm going to New York next week and I thought it would be cool to buy an iPhone from the 5th avenue Apple store. I would buy the 16GB and the new SDK has been released for it, but I was wondering if I should wait for a 3G version to come out because there are rumors of one coming out this summer. I just don't know, should I wait or just go ahead and get one now? And yes I know technology is constantly advancing but I just don't want to wait another 6 months to a year for a new one to come out.

I have both 360 and PS3 and I just don't know which version to buy. I want the downloadable content and achievement points for Xbox, but PS3 has blu ray so it could be bigger or have better graphics plus downloadable content of its own. As of now I am leaning toward 360 but I'm still not sure, but I need to pre-order soon to be sure I get it the day it comes out.

PS: I am not buying both versions!
