  • Do you know of any leadership books?

I got a promotion into a supervisor level. I really would like to really dig deep with my career. Does anyone know any good Leadership books, or supervisor instruction/guide books or anything of the sort.

I have asked for suggestions from my job, they have given me some ideas. However I wanted more of a general ideal - suggestive way of thinking. I would like to try to learn to scratch beneath the surface.

    Thanks!

  • What is going on with my body (after miscarriage)? points for best answer!?

I had Early Pregnancy Signs for about 2 weeks, the all of a sudden it disappeared, I started spotting about 4 days before my period was due, then came some AWFUL cramps (I have NEVER in my life had cramps!!!). I bleed for about 3 days - then it was gone (My period normal lasts about 7 days...the pregnancy signs are gone now....). (the 3 day period, was very moderate to high bleeding too)

But now, I still have some sensitivity in my lower left front, if I workout too hard. I have been really tired lately, also if I have an orgasm, it pulses in my lower front and lower back for the rest of the evening. I went to the doc, they took a pregnancy test, it was negative. They did some tests and said everything was normal. Has anyone had this??? I am getting frustrated. I still feel sensitivity and no one has answers!! My period isn't due until next week, but has anyone had this!? :( Please help!

  • VERY early miscarriage yet I still feel a heaviness down there.... **best answer will be chosen!!**?

Back in the middle of July I had a bit of bleeding between my period, not a lot. The sounds of it was Implantation bleeding, which I have NEVER in my life experienced anything like it. I had some very early pregnancy signs for about a week, then they disappeared. My period came a little early and came with spotting for a few days (abnormal for me..) and some cramping that got worse for a while (I have had my period since I was 14 and I have NEVER in my life had cramps EVER!! I am 25 now!) I bleed heavily for about 3 days and that was it (that too is abnormal for my "period" to be less than 7 days..). I took a Preg. test just in case....it was negative. I still had some "heaviness" in my lower left abdomen. I went to a NEW gyno (Physician Assistant), who looked at me like I was from mars, b/c the pregnancy test never said positive. She kept saying I probably had a bladder infection or cyst (of course both of those came out negative. I have had both of those and know it wasn't that). I KNOW what my body felt and how different it was for me. No one seems to believe me. The symptoms I had could not be made up, I can NOT make myself pee 14 times in one day!!! There are others, but I won't waste anymore of your time. They did an ultrasound to check for cysts...it came out negative.

    Pregnancy test still neg.

It has been 3 weeks since the craziness miscarriage thing, now I still get that heaviness on my lower left (front) side, mainly if I orgasm (sorry for TMI). Would the gyno had noticed during the ultrasound if there was something "still" in there? Do you have any suggestions? Should I get a second Gyno's opinion? Would I need a D&C? I wouldn't have been far along, the health clinic said I would have only been between 3 and 4 weeks. I know I was, so please don't make this any harder on me and state I wasn't. Thank you for your understanding in this time I am going through.

  • Am I pregnant? Pinching feeling...?

I am usually regular on my period. About 12 days AFTER my period I got this weird reddish mucus, I looked it up and everywhere it says it is "Implantation" of the egg or something. Well it showed that once, I hadn't seen anything since. Well 2 days later I had this strong pinching pressure feeling in my lower right in-between my belly button and the pubic hair line. every now and again i get the feeling on my right lower side but not as strongly. That day and the next it was difficult to sit for long periods of time, or have anything "tight" on that area, seatbelt, pants, ect. After that I get a little bit of twitching now, but it isn't as strong. In the beginning I was peeing a lot.....I am not now... I peed 1 to 2 times every hour the day after the mucus and a few days before. I do not had this issue now. I still have 2 weeks until my period is due. If I am pregnant I do want to start eating healthy now...any suggestions? I am not any more tired than usual, my boobs are not tender, other than the weird pinching I am "normal". I have googled this and I see some other women had the same feeling, but I could never find out if they were pregnant or not, they never reposted to say that their test was positive. 2 days after the mucus, took a pregnancy test it was negative. Any help is appreciated. i will rate the best. Thank you so much.... If u need additional info I will put it, so please come back if you ask a question :)

  • Is it normal for Thermostat to be over set temperature?

Outside it is about 88º. We have our Thermostat set at 75º our AC kicks on at 75º, but it seems like it can't keep up with the rising temperature outside....so now the temperature is 77º (indoors). Is this normal??

Hubby thinks that it is because it is so hot outside it is trying to keep up. I say the AC unit/Thermostat should be keeping up with it, that is the POINT of the thermostat.

Any help is grealy appreciated!! I will vote for best answer! :) Thank you in advance!
