Just wanna know cuz I like this guy and I think he likes me back- i just don't understand if he's shy or uninterested o.o

He seems like the type of guy that's like all social and charismatic and yet when he comes towards me he hugs me or something like that- we say hi, and then he walks off. like, confusing much? When I first met him, he would barely talk to me- instead he would to to my best friend sitting next to me. Whenever I would try to talk to him, he seemed nervous and tended to talk fast and barely make eye contact... And now, on his facebook status he wrote "I think I like her". like WTF. I like him but idk if he feels the same.. help me! /.\
