Every time I IM someone on Messenger Version 8 it shuts down. Occasionally I get to actually get a message through but Messenger just keeps on signing me off and then signing me back on again until it eventually just shuts down. I am not using Windows blinds so that cannot be the issue. Version 7 works just fine and I have to keep on uninstalling version 8 and reinstalling version 7 as each new version 8 comes out. This had been going on for months and I'm really sick of it. What's happened in version 8 that was not going on in version 7?

whe does the messenger icon say in the icon tray after I close down Yahoo. I have used the item in preferences that says to shut down the main window but the icon remains in the task tray until I right click and exit it. Also, version 8 will not stay upt for me so I have to go back to version 7. Now everytime I start up Messenger and even in the middle of doing something in Messenger, this stinkin box comes up telling me to upgrade to version 8 again. Is there no way to get stop that box from coming up?
