I have been working for a radio station for just about 4 years now. I had to apply as part-time while in college. After I graduated I needed more hours and I was getting denied so I applied for another job. The job I applied for is a job that I have my college degree in, sociology. I will be working in a mental hospital as a psych aide with youth. I was called in for an interview and the next day my boss from the radio station tells me he can give more more hours after all. Now I'm not sure witch job to take. Both have their pros and cons.

Hospital-:

Pros- State job, 5 more hours a week, health benefits, I will get a raise after a year, my college degree is for this.

Cons- An hour and 15 min drive from home (I will not be going home but 3 days out of the week and staying with my dad that lives closer) so i will be missing my fiance, I am worried that this will cause a problem because we have been living together for the last year, its a mental hospital, my boyfriend worries for my safety.

Radio station:

Pros- I know everyone because I have worked here forever, I get to meet a lot of people (music artist, chefs, athletes), I work Monday- Friday during the day... no rotation, & people love me here, its only 15 mins from home.

Cons- My boss has never given me a raise, I think hes only giving me more hours because I threatened to get another job.

Im not quite sure on what to do. Any Opinions?

Today while doing to work my car's engine started shaking. I had this problme back in January and it was fixed by a simple tune up. Now its back and worse than ever. It is also taking a while for my car to pick up speed. I have a Honda Accord Ex. Anyone know what could be wrong?

Someone was giving away an african grey bird because it is plucking out its feathers due to mites. I was wondering if I do take the bird, can the mites be passed to other animals? We have reptiles, sugar gliders, cats, dogs, and rabbits. If I do get the bird, I will be treating it (My vet said it will be $350 for the treatment)... But having it around for a few days before going to a vet, could it be harmful to my other animals, or is it something only birds get? Also do you think it is worth getting the bird if I am going to have to pay nearly $400 for treament and I do not know much information about the bird as in the age, or how long it has had the mites? I really want a large bird, I just do not know if I should take this one being free (they usually cost around $1,000) and treat it or just pay extra to get another healthy one.

I cant help but cry watching the survivor/ rescue clips from Japan. I know the feeling they had when they found out their loved ones were okay. After Katrina, not hearing from my mom because she had stayed behind, I was a wreck. When I did hear from her after nearly a week, the weight lifted up off my shoulders. Its the happiest feeling in the world. My heart goes out to Japan for the loss of loved ones, to the ones that are still missing, have faith, do not give up hope, miracles do happen.

Alright so I had a kit with plugs all in a set from sizes 14g-0g. Took me a year to finally get here becasue Im taking my time. Is their any places that sell sets starting at 0g and going bigger? Tapers and plugs? If not, would it be okay to gauge up without using tapers? I dont want a blow out but I heard someone saying that I dont need tapers from there on...

I have my nose pierced but Im thinking about taking it out and getting my septum done... What do you think?

Alright... So I know septum piercings hurt a tad and so do dimples. Compared to other piercings, is it that bad? I have 12 already (nose; that I will take out when I get the septum, snakebites; that will come out when I get my dimple piercings, 4g plugs, second holes, cartlidge on top of the ear, tongue, belly, and nipples) and I want to know how bad it hurts compared to these....

I really like a picture that I have but its blurry. Any ways to fix it?

I recently adopted a boxer/pitt bull mix from the LA SPCA. She has been to the vet, and is healthy and heart worm free however, she is a little underweight. I don't like seeing her ribs and although she has gained a lot since I adopted her do you have any advice to how I can fatten her up without feeding her more than I already do? She already eats three bowls a day and most of the time she is full and will not eat the last bowl.
