A is for Atheist

We are born atheists, and we learn religions. I have studied all religions, and with seminarians, and many others who, at the end of their studies, became atheist or agnostics. It is so common that after I graduated college, a Methodist bishop asked if I would like to become a minister in one of his churches--knowing that I was an atheist. Ethically, I could not do it, so I chose to teach instead. This same bishop, when I asked why he did not tell his flock the whole truth, told me, "The poor peasants don't need to know too much." -he was wrong.
