  • Which factory installed programs on my new Vista Notebook can I delete for optimization?

My computer is slow and I am convinced it is from all the Factory installed stuff on it. The problem is I don't want to delete things that may be useful. I haven't put any software on that could be deleted because I use it rarely. Thanks for your help.

  • how to clear Recovery Hard drive D?

I answered "yes" to backing up files on the HP Recovery Hard drive and now I have a permanent red bar and an annoying pop up that says Low Disk Space: to clear unnecessary files, click. I do this but it only clears my recycle bin. The red bar remains. I am told by HP tech support that I have to use my recovery disk to bring my notebook back to factory status but it took me hours to load all of my files and I don't want to start again from the beginning. I thought I could make a CD of the recovered files to clear the D drive red bar but support says no. Any ideas? Thanks very much.

  • Why can't I be heard still even though I hear the contact on PC to PC calls?

I have tried other downloads for Pc to Pc calls as well as Yahoo and I always have the same trouble being heard no matter what. I have done everything that is suggested in the Yahoo help and also in questions and answer sections (i.e., remove and downloaded again, check microphone, check the internet connection, removed firewall blocks, asked friends to download same version, etc.) If it has something to do with my computer, how should I proceed? thanx
