I've had an interest in anything with wheels since I was a young child. In High school I took a few automotive classes and was hooked since then. My teacher has played a very influential part in my career decisions ever since. I got an associates degree in Automotive Technology and have worked on a wide variety of vehicles from CAT loaders and off-road trucks to BMW's and Corvettes. I am now in school yet again due to a back injury. I am going to school for Technical Education so I can teach the trade I am so passionate about. I was born and raised a GM guy and I'm a Corvette enthusiast through and through. I live in a small rural town in southern New York. It used to be a great place but is becoming too populated for my taste. I am anxious to get out of here and move back out into the middle of nowhere while attending school. I would love to be able to experiance the mid-west and southern states in the future and would enjoy travelling the USA.

  • Computer Speaker Noise?

My computer speakers are making a crackling/static noise when they are on. It doesnt not matter if I have them muted from the computer, the volume turned all the way down or music on blasting. I just purchased brand new speakers hoping that would solve the problem. This is a very sudden change, the speaker location has not changed at all, but it sounds like some sort of interference. Any ideas? Could it be my sound card?

  • Automotive Journalist Info?

As many of you might have noticed by my answers...I have a great passion for cars and know quite a bit. After an injury at work I am looking at 2 options for continueing my career in the automotve field. One is being a vocational teacher and the other automotive journalism.

What does it take to be an automotive journalist? Is there a specific degree or just a general journalism degree? Whats the average salary like? How hard is it to break into this field?

  • Best excercises to do with back pain?

I'm a young guy (22) and used to be in the best shape of my life until an unfortunate accident at work left me with 2 disc with no fluid left in them. I have been doing daily visits to the chiropractor and have seen many surgeons but everybody tell me I'm too young to be cut open... and I agree. I want to start excercising again but I'm very pessimistic about going back to the gym. My back has been feeling pretty good but I dont want to do any further damage by lifting weights. I have thought about swimming but that sounds boring to me. I'm very adventurous and ready for anything, so what type of fitness activities can you suggest to get back into shape? Any suggestions would be great.
