Someone on here asked what was the largest board game ever made. Someone answered and put a link to boardgamegeek.com It was a boardgame that included WW2 boards of Europe and Pacific, and a third board. The answerer said it took 3 days to play the game. What game is it?

I just learned about German-style board games. They're also called designer games or Eurogames. Some examples are Ticket to Ride or Settlers of Catan.

I was wondering what are your favorites? Which German-style games do you think are the best ever? Which are your favorite? What ones are in your collection? Which do you play the most?

If I have 3 or 4 people I can do round robin tournament in 3 rounds. With 6 or more players I can use software to use the swiss system, but not for 5. I did search the internet for a 5 person tournament, but could only find a single elimination format. I'm looking for 3 rounds of 2 games each round, but I don't understand how to pick who sits out. Could someone explain the layout and pairing rules for a 3-round 5 person board game tournament? I'm running the tournament for my social club on Saturday afternoon.
