You have to find sin(u/2) and cos(u/2). In Pythagorean Theorem : y = 1, x = 3, and r = sqrt 10. Also, you have to use the Half-angle formulas. Please and Thanks in advance.

when i started i multiplied the left by the CD: (cos(x)+1)(cos(x)-1)...it went downhill from there.
