  • Q about M-Audio Delta1010 AC adapter?

    Hi All.

I have just won an ebay auction for an M-Audio Delta1010 recording interface, but as the seller is in the USA, and i live in Denmark, i need to obtain another AC adapter (transformer, really), seeing as the US have a 115V mains system, and we here in Europe have 230V.

What i need to know, then, is how much is the current consumption of the Delta1010 ?

I hope somebody out there can tell me this.

    Thanks in advance,

    Gert

  • Will my Gigabyte PA65-UD3-B3 (Rev1.0) support memory modules of 8GB in size?

Hi, i built a PC with this motherboard in january, and i had originally bought 2 matched pairs of 4GB modules (DDR3) for a a total of 16 GB memory, but unfortunately it turned out the mobo will not support more than two double-sided RAM modules.

Now, before you say that 8GB is plenty, let me add that it is going to be used as the centre of my home recording studio, which means that the more RAM i have, the better when making the final mixes.

Anyway, on the Gigabyte site there is a list of tested modules, but none of those are 8GB modules, which is why i ask here.

    Please help!

  • Why oh Why do people ask questions in the wrong categories?

I mean, if they are able to type on a keyboard, wouldn't it be reasonable to assume they can read as well?

Yet i have seen countless times that questions about, to name but one example, social networks are asked in such unlikely categories as Science, Electronics, Mathemathics, Programming.

To me it suggests, at best, a lack of understanding of what has often been called"Netiquette".

Can anyone give me a better explanation?
