2 AnswersLanguages7 years agoJapanese Translation- I'm lost on this dialogue?
Context: Kid tells scary story to エステル, who is very scared but wants to hear the ending. This is what the kid says to her:
君の反応を面白がるみんなもみんなだけど
毎回似にような話で大騒ぎしてるエステルもエステルだよ
The repetition of esuteru and minna are confusing me.
Any input appreciated. :)
1 AnswerLanguages7 years agoJapanese phrase help, aftershocky place?!?
The dialogue is:
"普段は人一倍鈍感なくせに
どうして余震な所にだけは鋭いんだか..."
My main struggle is "余震な所." The phrase in whole seems to be "And you have a habit of being more insensitive than others. Why do...." and then yoshin na tokoro confuses me. Any help appreciated, thanks.
1 AnswerLanguages7 years agoJapanese slang: I.F.?
I have heard that in Japan, sometimes English letters are used as slang, for example OC for oishii. Does IF stand for anything? I have found it in this context:
まあ、
ifなので。
気にしない,気にしない。
