Advice for couple that never get to see each other because of work?
My boyfriend and I never get to see each other because he travels a lot for work and rarely gets to come home. When he does come home he gets his three small children because they live with their mother. I love his kids so much but chasing children around the house sure can make the time fly by not to mention no alone time. We are very happy together and I don't feel like our relationship is in danger but I feel depressed and sad a lot because we don't get much quality time together. Quitting his job (or mine) is not an option because he has a mortgage, car payment, child support and other living expenses. We thought about trying to get a cheaper house or apartment but we don't even have the time to do all that is involved with selling the house and moving. I feel irritated a lot because I have always been a free spirited person who believes in a stress free life with a lot of emphasis on family time and enjoying the small things in life, but this has become the opposite. We literally talk to each other while brushing our teeth because that's sometimes the only time we have together before bed when he's home. Can anyone give advice on how to help this situation? Is there anything I can do to make ordinary things more special to make up for lost time? Any advice will help.
3 AnswersMarriage & Divorce8 years agoMy puppy pooped in his bed last night ?
He's been doing great with house training. I've been patient with the whining at night because I've only had him for six days. I've also had to take him out around 1am, and again around 3 or 4am even though we go outside several times before bedtime and i take up his food at 5pm. last night I thought, if I'd just let him whine he would learn that we sleep at night and I won't always be giving him bathroom breaks around the clock. This morning his bed was covered in poop. :/ I don't want to force him to potty on himself at night. I felt bad, but at the same time I don't want it to become a habit to have potty breaks several times at night. What can I do?
3 AnswersDogs8 years agoNew puppy, is his potty behavior normal?
My puppy has done excellent in potty training. He always goes outside and has only had a few understandable accidents in the house. When he poops outside, he will do it once, wait a few seconds, sniff around and do it again and again. It seems like he not finishing all at once, and it seems like he's not doing it on purpose. He just goes a little at a time. Is this normal? Also, what is the best way to teach him not to nip or bite while playing with the kids?
5 AnswersDogs8 years agoProperly socializing my puppy?
I'm determined to prove friends and family wrong about the pit bull breed. When I told everyone I got a puppy, everyone was happy until I told them he was a pit bull rescue. He's. six weeks old. Puppies aren't supposed to be in public until four months old due to their immune system being compromised, so how will I be able to socialize him and introduce him to new things, places and animals if I can't take him anywhere?
4 AnswersDogs8 years agoAdvice for anger problems?
I never feel like getting violent, or anything major like that, but my boyfriends ex wife gets me so angry sometimes, that I will just go on and on about how what she's doing isn't right and that I wish he would stand up to her and not let her treat him this way. (They have three kids so he has frequent contact with her) I'm not jealous, and I love that he gets to see his kids. I know I have a problem with getting upset and talking in an angry tone for an hour or so till I calm down. I don't know how to not get angry when I FEEL so angry. My boyfriend said it makes him feel like I'm mad at him, understandably, even though I'm just venting. Any advice on how to learn to keep my mouth shut and just let it go?
9 AnswersMarriage & Divorce8 years agoNeed ideas for a special Christmas gift, recently became unemployed.?
Without going too much into detail, this year has been very hard on my boyfriend and I. I moved in with him a month ago. I had a great job before I moved here but I was three hours away and after months of carefully thinking it through, I decided that this relationship was serious enough for me to quit my job to be with him. I have not found another job yet, and at the most, I would only be able to spend 20 or 30 dollars for a Christmas gift. I want to do something very special for him, but I can't think of anything. I've thought of doing the coupons, good for a body massage, day out with the guys etc... But I already do many of those things for him in everyday life so that's not very special. He has been through alot of traumatic events this year and i want to give him something special, even if its something i make myself, i just dont have any ideas... Please help!
5 AnswersChristmas8 years agoWhy was my question deleted?

3 AnswersYahoo Answers9 years agoWhat items would be required to make grave stone rubbings on paper?
I LOVE visiting famous american west historical graves ( Pat Garret, John Tunstall, the Clantons, Sitting Bull etc...) I am a huge history buff. Recently a friend asked me why I dont make headstone rubbings when possible. (some will not be able to be touched) I think this is an amazing idea and I don't know why this has never crossed my mind before. I would love to start doing this. What materials would I need? any suggestions on the proper way to do this, as well as preserve and store/display them.
1 AnswerHobbies & Crafts9 years agoCan verizon print off your text messages for you to read?
(of course if it is your account) if you ask them to? an example of what i mean is: you want to read your teenage daughters messages to find out if she has been doing things she has no buisness doing, you need the messages for evidence in court, you need the messages to catch someone in a lie, things like that. (none of these are my reason for asking, just examples)
2 AnswersCell Phones & Plans9 years agoVacation to San Diego Ca?
I know alot of people judge, but I LOVE OB in San Diego. I love the vibe, the crazy nightlife, and everything about it. are there any more recommendations for things to do In San Diego california? I will be going next summer with my sister and our cousin. I am recently divorced and this is my first trip as a single woman. I am very excited. I just want to know are there any more places kind of like OB? Like I said many people think its a dirty scummy place but I love the vibe and the aura of that place. It is by far the coolest place I have ever been. We are interested in clubs, and nightlife mainly, but nothing for the fancy glamourous Cali girls Lol we are small town southern belles from Texas, any other suggestions?
3 AnswersSan Diego9 years agoWalking to lose wieght, how long should I walk per day?
I have recently started speed walking every day, I LOVE it. I feel wonderful since I have been walking. I weigh 337 (I have lost 10 pounds so far) I walk for about 30 to 45 min daily, but I feel like I could do more. I want to start walking 2 hours a day, what is the recommended time to speed walk per day for maximum results? any other tips? I also have an eating problem, If something tastes good (comfort food) I will often not be able to resist a second or third helping. I love to eat healthy, salads, fish, fruits, veggies, but often the opportunity presents itself for some good old fashion southern comfort food which I can not turn down. I LOVE southern cooking. I live in Texas so its everywhere. I am set on loosing at least 200 pounds. any tips? Thank you!
4 AnswersDiet & Fitness9 years agoAm I being used? I cant tell :(?
I am such a nice (and naive) person. I always try to help everyone I can. I have a very good friend (that I have started to have feelings for) and I need help deciding weather he appreciates and enjoys my help AND company or weather he just likes all the free help. We were room mates. He is going through a divorce right now and I moved in to help him care for his house and 3 children because he works long hours. we have alot in common and sometimes when we are just hanging out I feel such a connection with him. I always try to be thoughtful and do things that i see need to be done so he doesn't have to worry about them, even things like, I will buy him a pack of cigarettes if I see hes almost out, make him a drink if hes mowing, things like that. but he never returns the favor. We are not together and he has decided that since he is single now, he will start enjoying the single life. so he has 3 or 4 no strings attached lady friends that he has been seeing. I started feeling sad because I would dedicate all my energy into making sure the kids were fed, house was clean, diner was made, and he dedicated all his energy into talking and going out with his lady friends. I got offered a job in another town, so I moved. I have only been gone 3 days, and I miss him alot. I know he just got out of a marriage and he is not interested in a relationship and I understand that. what I want to know is if he enjoys my company and likes being my friend, (if so I would like to visit him often) or If he just loved all the help I gave (if that's the case I can find better things to do with my time) I dont mind helping him if he enjoys my company and likes me as a person, but If he only wants me around to do things for him, then thats not fair to me.
1 AnswerFriends9 years agoI need marriage advice, please help!?
My husband recently left me for another woman, but he did tell me from the very start that he was not sure if this is what he wanted, and I agreed on a separation while he decided what he wants. It has been a month and they were seemingly happy. out of the blue he calls me and sais hes misses me so bad and he knows he messed up big time. (his whole family and all of our friends are very angry with him and he feels like he has no one to talk to but me) he even said he thinks often about killing himself, and that he cant handle being all alone (hes no longer with this other woman, however, she thinks she is pregnant by him and it will be weeks before we can find out if she is or not) He wants me to come home, and It HURTS me so bad to see him sad and remorseful for what hes done, It absolutely rips my heart out to hear him talk like that and say how alone he feels and that he knows he messed up royaly. But I had just begun to accept the fact that I need to move on and get my own place, car etc...I feel like I am stuck in limbo and I do not know what to do. I Dont want to tell him I will come back because I am not sure if I want to, but I dont have the heart to tell him that! I could never say anything to cause him pain no matter what has happened this past month. someone who has been through this please help me!
5 AnswersMarriage & Divorce9 years agogetting a divorce and need to move and find myself.?
I love the outdoors. I love anything to do with nature and beautiful scenery. I have been cooped up in a worthless marriage for 7 years and now that we are getting divorced, I am ready to live for me and I want to go somewhere breathtaking. somewhere where I can just relax and find myself. where are some places i could move to that are either small towns with beautiful countryside, or even a big city as long as it is close to tons of outdoor activities and beautiful scenery? the only requirement i would have is it has to be somewhere that I could get a job and support myself, but that shouldn't be too hard now that its just me, we had no kids. thanks for the help! ( and the divorce is a final thing there is no working it out at all )

3 AnswersSingles & Dating9 years agoQuestion about swingers? Serious answers only!!?
My husband and I have never opened our mariage up to a third person, or to swaping partners with another couple, but we have talked about it. We don't know the ins and outs of becoming a swinger, but the thought of it is exciting and I have done my research. statisticly married couples who swing are much more happy with thier marriage and life in general. We are friends with another married couple our age and they are very trusting and open with each other. they have had threesomes in the past and she mentioned to me that they might want to start swinging. We have been taking turns cooking diner for each other and just hanging out with them alot. We have been doing this for about a month now. We have so much fun with them and My question is, when and how should I bring up the proposal of swinging with them? What are some dos and donts?

5 AnswersCooking & Recipes9 years agohow much should I charge per week for babysitting?
I have decided to start babysitting to earn a little extra money since my husband just lost his job. (I have much experience with children) however, I do not have any clue what prices day cares charge, I know i will want to charge less than a daycare right? I wish to charge by the week, what would be a reasonable amount to charge? if it is different for different ages can you please give me those differences? I already have people asking about my prices but I do not want to scare them off with too high of a price, I also don't want to severely undercharge when I could definitely use the extra money. Help please!
