Name suggestions for boy starting with X?
My husband's name is Xylis, and we would like to have a boy name that also starts with X if we have a boy. We are considering using Xylis with my grandfather's name Royal as the middle name (so Xylis Royal) which we both like. However, we're not 100% sure of using Xylis because we're not sure what we could use as a nickname that would be different from his father's Xy.
I would like something different from the typical Xavier and Xander (but hubby likes both), and hubby doesn't like Xerxes. We'd like something unique but not silly like Xaeden or Xackariah--seriously, no names that are almost normal but with an X stuck in front. I like names that have meaning, and it has to sound good with Royal as a middle name.

I'm not quite ready to get pregnant, and I want to finish my allergy shots before trying, just in case I have a bad reaction, though I've never had more than a bump on the arm from it. Anyway, I'll be done with them in about 1-1/2 years, and already my asthma is much easier to control and am rarely getting colds, etc. I feel like my asthma is under fairly good control now, but I've read that moms with asthma need to be monitored carefully during pregnancy and may need clinic visits more often that those without asthma. I want to be as prepared as I can be, and I am reading as much as I can (I tend to over-prepare if anything, lol). I would like to hear personal experiences, especially for those with moderate to severe asthma.
How well did you do during pregnancy? Did you need more checkups, and did you ever get a lung infection during pregnancy?
3 AnswersPregnancy9 years agoHow long did it take you to decide to try?
How long did you wait between deciding you want a baby to deciding to start trying? I've been getting baby fever gradually over the last few years, but since my close friend/sister-in-law had her son in April, I've been thinking about babies more and more. I know it's not a good time for us to start trying for a variety of reasons, but after a year or two, we would be in a better position if all goes well financially and health-wise. Were you able to wait to better your circumstances and was it worth it?
