Friends were caught stealing and I was with them?
My two friends were caught stealing from a store. They stole less that $15 combined. I was with them at the time, however I was not aware that they stole the items. As we were leaving the store, we were stopped and taken to a back room. The police came and asked for all our information and parents' numbers. They did not charge us but they did ban us from all the corporation's stores in Canada. They said they were mailing us all a civil demand fine. I am extremely worried about this fine because I know its over 200 and my family doesn't have that money PLUS I did not participate (didn't keep a look out, didnt hold items, didnt help them steal) but I was told I would be charged the same way. Please help, I heard you dont actually have to pay this fine and its just to scare you. This is very unfair
4 AnswersLaw & Ethics6 years agoBelly button ring too short?
I got my belly button pierced 2 days ago. I've noticed its too deep and the jewellery I have in is too small for it. It looks great other than the fact the botton part goes into my belly button. Is it okay to change it for a longer piece of jewlery in about 2 months? I know the healing time is 6 months but its really bothering me
3 AnswersOther - Skin & Body6 years agoI have acne and I'm on Epiduo. Has anyone used it?
I'm struggling with teen acne and it is the most frustrating thing. I take care of my skin and I still get at least 3-6 noticeable zits at one time that take a very long time to go away and leave behind scarring. My mom hate dermatologists so she sent me to the family doctor and they prescribed me Epiduo (Tactuo in Canada). Its made me skin flaky and dry. It used to burn but not anymore. I'm still getting breakouts from it and its making me lose hope because i respond to products very fast but they always end up not working. I also feel like once I stop using this cream, all my acne will come back again. My acne is very hormonal and I've been begging my mom to put me on birth control or accutane like the family doctor said but she hates that stuff. She never had acne and she doesnt understand how hard it is to have acne especially at this day and age when the pressure to be flawless is put upon teens. All my friends have nice clear skin that they don't have to worry about and then theres me. Idk what to do and Epiduo is discouraging me even more. Has anyone had experiences with it??
2 AnswersSkin Conditions8 years agoI think I have Depression? What do I do?
I think I have very bad depression. I know that it is a very serious illness but I've been very sad this last year. I've been crying almost everyday for no reason and the littlest things get to me. I told my parents but they don't seem to think its real, they just always ask why I'm crying. I have suffered from bulimia too but it got better and I had crazy weight gains. I'm a very emotional eater as well. I had really bad acne this year that was caused by stress. My mood also gets very down when it is raining or cloudy outside. I have been bullied throughout my elementary years and I had a bad encounter with a bully in the past year too. I know I'm very depressed and even people look at me and tell me that I look very sad whenever they see me. I don't know here to go. I live near a walk in clinic and I have a paediatrician but my appointment with her is months away for a check up. My mother made an appointment at the teen clinic (sick kids hospital in toronto) for me to talk to someone. Do you think they would be able to help? i feel like i need medication
1 AnswerMental Health8 years agoCalorie and Weight Loss HELP!?
Alright so I am trying to lose weight. I am currently 5'2 and 129 pounds, 15 years old. I seem to weigh a lot more than I look though. Anyways, I've always eaten under 1700 calories a day and I am almost overweight you could say (checked BMI). I used this calculator online to check how many calories I need to eat and it said 2000! I know for a lot of people that the calculations are accurate but if I did eat that much I would become obese. I want to know how many calories I need to eat but I'm having a lot of trouble. Not even 1200 calorie diet works for me to lose weight. I realize I have a very low metabolism for my age and it's so hard to be around skinny friends who eat whatever they want. Please someone help
18 AnswersDiet & Fitness8 years agoCartilage piercing with piercing gun! Help?
I went to get my cartilage pierced at a nail salon thinking they would use a needle but then they pulled out a piercing gun. I let them do it anyway but now I'm scared of infections. When i got it done, it didn't hurt and it still doesn't hurt, just a bit sore. I've heard horror stories about those guns on your cartilage but my ear seems fine. Has anyone else got their cartilage pierced with a gun? If so how long did it take to heal and did it get infected?
3 AnswersOther - Skin & Body8 years agoCAKEY,DRY,FLAKEY FOUNDATION HELP?
I just started using foundation. This isn't the first time but its the first time in a while.
I try everything to make my foundation look good. I moisturize in the evening and in the morning. I let the moisturizer sink into my skin.
I apply 2 layers of revlon colorstay for dry skin and no powder. I let the layer dry before applying another one. It looks okay when i apply it but in the middle of the day it does dry, flaky, it looks cake and absolutely gross. It's every makeup user's nightmare. I have a couple of pimples and a lot of acne scars. No matter how i apply this foundation, it always ends up looking gross.
This foundation got great review for staying power. Every makeup guru uses it, so i don't see why it isn't working for me, it is for dry skin. Please help! How do i make my foundation look like regular skin instead of crackey and horrendous
2 AnswersMakeup8 years agoReview on the Revlon Colorstay?
I've heard so much about this foundation. I want to get the dry to normal skin formula. Does it give a dewy finish? I really like to have a dewy finish because matte looks gross and patchy on my skin. What's the difference between the oily formula and the dry formula?
1 AnswerMakeup8 years agoMedium to full coverage, dewy foundation?
I have so much acne scars/hyperpigmentation and I need to cover them. I have some pimples here and there aswell. I need a medium-full coverage foundation that will LAST all day when I'm at school. I really want a dewy finish because my skin is dry and matte foundations make it look gross and patchy. Is there any foundation you could recommend? I want to lean more to the drugstore foundations rather than high end. The highest i would spend is 30$. Please help, thanks :)
