  • Need second opinion.....?

I have back stiffness and lower back pain....I have also had what felt like gas pains all over the abdomen. Now I have this aching/dull pain in my left side of the abdomen just to the left of my bellybutton and up 1-2 inches. I also have slight discomfort in both of my armpits that comes and goes. My back bothers me after standing for a period of time, but when I bend at the waist, I get instant relief from my lower back.

I have been to the hospital...x-rays show nothing, my kidneys have been checked and they are fine. The doctors are telling me that this is all being caused by muscle spasms in my back.

I need a second opinion....I know there are no definitive answers, but this has to be symptoms of something.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Relocation to New York....?

I am relocating to New York City due to a job change. I will be working in Manhattan, therefore would like to stay within a 30-45 minute commute. I will be renting initially, for approximately 6 months - 1 year before buying.

Can someone please tell me some areas that are SAFE, somewhat economical and somewhat convenient. I have about 1800-2100 per month that I will spend on rent.

Also, any complexes, personal references or whatever that might aid in my search. I have been to NY once and have no idea where to go or where not to go.

***It may be easier to tell me where NOT to live (I have been told to stay away from anything over 100th Street)***

    Thanks in advance....

  • What to do......?

I recently interviewed with a company (Monday morning). The process went extremely well based on my view. The hiring manager told me that we would know something by the end of the week. Well, the time is counting down and nothing has been heard. The employment package will include salary, bonus, benefits and relocation....so it is somewhat comprehensive.

Knowing these facts, is it safe to assume that since nothing has been heard from them that the job was probably offered to someone else....and while they are awaiting a response from him/her to accept, I could be left out waiting until that time????

OR should they have already told me that they went with another candidate regardless?? I just don't want to go through the weekend.....and I feel the longer I go with not hearing a thing, the worse off my chances.

    Thanks in advance

  • LAPTOP ISSUES....I have an IBM laptop that is running Windows XP. When I attempt to boot up, I get a blue...?

screen with lots of white writing talking about a fatal error has occured. It was doing this in my home-office where I have wireless. So, I disabled the wireless modem and it still won't boot up. I have also taken the laptop to other locations, but does the same thing.

I sent this laptop in to my company's IT department. They have been able to boot it up with no problems and the laptop does not revert to the blue screen at all. They have run tests on the laptop and say that they don't see any problems. I have sent it in twice in the last 30 days and nothing is being done.

Can anyone tell me what the problem could be?? The only difference between my home-office and my company's IT department would be the wireless service. And it still won't work when I disable it.

It should be stated that I have worked with the same wireless router for 8 months prior to having this problem....so I don't think its the wireless service.

Any ideas would be great! Thanks in advance.

  • What can I do with this laptop?? Got a memory dump....?

My laptop has a blue screen with a "physical memory dump" message on it. It won't even reboot...as it just continues to cycle and ask if I want to start normally, safe mode, etc. When I try to start in safe mode, it asks for a username and password, which I don't know at all so I cant bypass that. Before I send it back to my IT department and they keep it for four weeks, I was wondering if there is anything I can do for now. By the way, I can't access any of windows, therefore, cannot get to the internet to download any type of hard drive erase information which I was told might be a smart idea. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  • Ladies....opinions on this!?

Simply, I just want to know what the opinions are on this issue. I am married and have been for 2 1/2 years. I love my wife very much but I am uncomfortable about a few things. According to her, all of her life she has gotten along better with guys than girls. She has many guy friends....but that doesn't bother me as much as she talks to them on the phone quite often. I have never been a jealous person, but really wonder why she has the need to chat with other guys, who she claims are friends, on the phone. It's usually occuring occasionally so it's not like she is carrying on 45 minute conversations....and she talks openly about it. She has always told me that she spoke to them, and what they talked about...so say! I do need to add that there are two main guys.....one is married and seems to be nice. I have met him a few times and know his wife also. The other is.....well, just think of 40 year old virgin.

I guess I just want the opinions of some ladies. Thanks
