camp counselor app question?
Hi all!
I'm applying to a camp that I was a camper at for probably 5 years, about 5 or 6 years ago. The camp has changed ownership since then so I'm sure a lot of things are probably different, which makes this question difficult (if it wasn't already).
List two fun ideas you would like to bring and implement at camp
Obviously, it's hard to pull ideas out of nowhere. I worked at a different camp 2 summers ago and tried to think of things that were different, but everything different at that camp just made it less fun so I don't want to bring that to this one! Haha. i'm just not very creative on demand so I would appreciate any suggestions or just something to get me started.
Thanks!
1 AnswerTeaching7 years agoCan I use this on my tattoo?
http://www.sephora.com/yoghurt-cooling-gel-P96603
Korres After-Sun Cooling gel...as an alternative or in addition to unscented lotion. I was told to treat my tattoo kind of like a sunburn, and this is what I use for sunburn and it's very gentle and all natural, which I feel would be better for my skin than a generic and chemically supplemented lotion, scented or not. (This stuff isn't scented, I meant for the lotion). It's a small tattoo with little damage, so there's less risk of irritation (and I already know how my skin reacts to this stuff). It helps my sunburn heal, even if it's blistering, so I think it'd be a good idea but I'd love to know from someone who knows more about tattoos or who has tried it.
Thanks!

8 AnswersHomework Help1 decade agookay so this is pretty pointless but what do you think of these names?
no, i'm not pregnant. i don't plan to be pregnant until AFTER i'm happily married. i don't even plan to have sex til then, so don't even worry about it.
but i love names and languages, etc etc etc
so i was just thinking and then i decided that if i ever had triplets i would name them
Julian James
Joel Henry and
Jessica Charlotte
and they would just have to be 2 boys and a girl just because i love those names, haha
and the J thing is just because pretty much every man in my family has a J name, my dad is James, his dad is John, my uncle is John, my cousin is John, and my other cousin is Joey. so i just had to keep with the J's, plus I love those names anyway. and jessica just fit with it perfectly. I only put this 'question' up because i couldn't find any open ones to answer with those names, so I had to get it out there that i love the names. haha sorry for wasting everybody's time. :)
6 AnswersBaby Names1 decade agoCan you join the military if you have MS?
My dad has MS, and that raises my chances of having it by quite a bit, I don't remember the percentage or whatever, and I'm not going to make it up, but if I find out that I have it before I join the military (which I plan on doing), will they still let me join, and what if I don't find out until after I'm in, will I be discharged or still able to stay? I may not have it, but if I do, I'm afraid I won't be able to join later.
2 AnswersMilitary1 decade agoWhich cello strings to get?
I'm going to buy a set of cello strings, my cello teacher recommended 3 brands, Dominant, Helicore, and Jargar. First off, which would you recommend? Also, with the Dominant strings, the sets have two gauges, Stark and Weich, what is the difference?

1 AnswerMilitary1 decade agoWhat are alto and tenor clefs?
I've played piano for 4, almost 5 years, and flute for 3 1/2, and I've never heard of an alto or tenor clef. I was only aware of treble and bass. Can someone please explain? Are they just more narrowed sections of the treble and bass clef, or are they actually different?
5 AnswersPerforming Arts1 decade agoGood student cello brands?
I'm looking to buy a cello, but I'm just starting, so I'd like some brands, things to look for, etc. but on a budget, so preferably nothing over $700-$800. Any advice is welcome! Thanks! :)

6 AnswersPerforming Arts1 decade agoWhat does this mean to you?
"...Heard a carol, mournful, holy,
Chanted loudly, chanted lowly,
Till her blood was frozen slowly,
And her eyes were darken'd wholly,
Turn'd to tower'd Camelot. ..." --The Lady of Shalott (poem, Tennyson)

I'm not sure why, but I'm fascinated with this excerpt from the poem. I'd like to see what others think of it, and if you like it, why? If you hate it, why? Tell me what it says/means to you.
3 AnswersOther - Arts & Humanities1 decade agoMore promising career choice?
I'm trying to decide whether to go into things involving Film Production or Language Interpretation/Translation. Which do you think would be a better choice, and why? [Note: I'm only a rising freshman in high school, so it's very likely that I will change my mind. I'd like to try and plan ahead a little bit, though.] Thanks! :~)
