  • Does anyone else hate the Official xbox Live Expert as much as i do?

I keep seeing this individual over and over and it pisses me off that they give no real advice, mostly just "google it" and adding their little advertisement in the sources section. Does this piss off anyone else like it does to me? And is there anything we can do about it?

  • video card or processor?

I have a easycap capture card with Ulead's VideoStudio software. When i use it in conjunction with my Dell 1721 Laptop, The picture freezes up every now and then making it really difficult to play the game, and much less worth even recording. Well i wanted to get a new computer anyway, a desktop. What am i looking for in the desktop to make it so the video doesnt freeze up like that on me? Do i need a high performance processor or video card or both?

  • Graphics cards and capture cards?

I want to use a capture card to record my xbox 360 games. i have one, but it works very poorly on my dell inspiron 1721 laptop. i want to get a new computer, but i have one stumbling block. i found one i like, but it says it is poor for gaming but very good with video playback. When recording on my computer, will i need a good gaming card or is good video playback sufficient?

  • If i have video capture software, do i HAVE to have the capture device?

I have an easycap capture card and Ulead VideoStudio, but i was wondering if i could bypass the capture card itself. Could i, or is there anyway, to say... plug my Xbox 360 via HDMI into my computer, and connect the computer also via HDMI to my tv and still record it with JUST the VideoStudio software? The reason i ask is cause i would like a better quality video than the crap the little device gives.
