  • Unintentional Inbreeding of High Class Pitbulls? What Can Happen?

I had a dog who came from a long line of body building dogs and lived happily with me for about 11 years, we put him to sleep after he had trouble with his hips. He got a female bodybuilding pit pregnant and this was planned. Vets said she was an inexperienced mother because she stayed at the vet's for 1 week but out of that girl's litter of 9, 2 pups survived. 3 stillborns and 4 were lost by her, and I suppose the vet's carelessness.

After this she got spayed. Now her puppies are about 7 months and they have mated. This happened a while ago, about 30 days. I doubted that she was pregnant and now she is huge. I've done my hw and have found the good and bad of inbreeding. What is more likely to happen? Me getting huge, healthy pits because of the mom and dad's background or a litter who will come down with hip problems early? Though I know that problems with the hips was a big thing in the later years of life in the dad's family, I never heard of anything else in his or her family.

I am not a professional breeder, this was a genuine accident but because of the mom and dad's history, I feel a little at ease. The 7 month old boy is huge, packed with muscle and is called a "freak", a "hybrid" and a "monster" by his vet and my family, he is gorgeous, all black and at a hefty 150lbs. The girl is small, but thick, also packed with muscles, and at 78lbs also beautiful. Should I worry or should I be at ease.

The dad was from Dragon Kennels, a reputable breeder, the mom from a family friend.

Advice, comments, concerns and reassurement is sought and will be praised I thank you for your time.

  • I am having Neighbor Problems please Help!!!!!?

Ok here's my situation My neighbor has harassed me for quite a while with many things. The first incident was with trashcans! There was a party on our block and many cars were parked in front of my house. The space I reserved for my trashcans was taken so I put them in front of my neighbor's house. He immediately comes out and screams at me "I don't want your trashcans in front of my house!" I thought, and just went with it "Ok, I'll put them out in front of my other neighbor's house, no problem" He slams the door and I ignored the incident. This was thursday, on Sunday I see lights in front of my house and I come out. Two animal control cars are out front requesting that I come out. I did, and they tell me that they have gotten a complaint of a very strong smell of feces and that the dogs are not being cleaned up after. I was outraged and as I'm leading the four officers to my backyard I see my neighbor peeking through his window. I thought what's this guy got against me? The officers see my backyard and they see it's spotless, they tell me "Oh, we were told that the four dogs you have were being kept in inhumane conditions but this is place is clean!" I knew I had nothing to worry about. My pups weren't tagged so I got a 50 dollar ticket for 3 of them and they tell me their momma needs to get spayed. They arranged a day for me to go to court and they assure me that it's nothing serious. At this point I'm mad because my little girl has stitches running down her stomach, something I didn't want for her, and I have this mindset that it's all his fault but I really don't want to think like that. :( The next week I receive a letter that says to Dog Owner from Animal Control saying my dogs bark too much. I am so pissed off and I don't know what to do. The letter says that they will have to be debarked or removed from the residence. But it says that I can call a number to have them trained. But for all three the cost will be above or around 1,000. But now I'm receiving even more letters saying that my neighbor is seeking legal action against me. For what I don't know yet. Since I've moved to my home I've been nothing but nice to this man now he's being a ******* (sorry for the profanity I really don't curse but when something pisses me off I do) nuisance and I'm going to snap. He lives alone and really I've been so polite to him that it's almost nauseating. I'm under attack and need to know what I could do. Thanks.
