  • ISO an authentic Irish Apple Scone recipe.?

My sister used to live in Dungannon and mentioned recently how much she misses the apple scones. She said they were the same at every coffee house, bakery ect. Soft and round with a sort of pie filling in the center. I have been scouring the internet but can't find what I'm looking for. I could easily make it up as I go and am sure it would be tastey but I want them to be exactly or as close to what she had as possible. Thanks if you can help!!!

  • How do I make a crock-pot dr pepper ham?

I really want to make one of these for thurs. I my husband is picking up a ham from his mom's tonight and bringing it home for me to cook. I haven't seen it for myself but she told me that it says "honey glazed ham" on the label. I have never bought a big ham before so I don't know much. Does the label mean that the glaze is already on the ham or that it has the glaze in a pouch with the ham, or does it just depend?

I was told to put the ham in the crock-pot, pour dr pepper over it, cover it with foil and cook for about 8 hours. Is that correct?

Thanks in advance for helping a ham virgin in need.

  • Prasad Ball Recipe... Pls Help!!!?

My dad was telling me a few weeks ago about these little balls made of Coconut, Dates, and Almonds that he said were called Prasad Balls. He said he used to get them all the time at a Health Food Shoppe where he used to live before he moved here and met my mom. He went on and on about how good they were and I thought it would be nice to make them for him for Father's Day. However, I can't find a recipe anywhere online.

Please, please, help me out if you know how to make them or how to find a recipe for them.

Thanks sooooo much. I'll pick a best answer!!!

How often would you say you brush your baby's (under 2) teeth?

    At least once a day

    Every other day

    Once a week

    Or other???

Just curious. I have a 14 month old son. He has 10 teeth so far. I'm not going to say how often I brush his teeth just yet as i don't want to effect anyone else's answer.

    THANKS!

  • For the Call of Duty fans out there...?

Call of Duty is my husbands favorite game at the moment. He's completed all the missions on the hardest level and now he and I co-op in Nazi Zombies almost nightly.

We are celebrating his birthday on Friday and I would like to get him a new game for the Xbox that he will equally enjoy and that we can also play together when we want.

I've been looking into Left Four Dead. What do you think of it and what else would you suggest?

Thanks so much. I'll pick a best answer!

  • What was your child's first word?

My son is 11 months old. He's been saying mama, dada, nana, baba, ect for months. These past two weeks he's been perfecting his first word. TICKLE. LOL. Out of all the words I thought would be his first "tickle" never crossed my mind. It's sooo cute. Every since he was born I've put him on his back and said "tickle tickle tickle" while running my fingers on his belly.

Today I've been trying to get him to say TURKEY for Thanksgiving, but he just keeps saying TICKLE. haha

  • Does anyone know how to make the buttery pecan sauce that Outback puts over their trout special?

I went to Outback the other night and got the trout special. IT WAS SOOO YUMMY. There was a sweet buttery pecan sauce drizzled over the fish and I'd love to make it at home.

Please help me out if you can. Thanks!
