Casey With A C
I'm a name fanatic and author with a strong opinion. What can I say?
Koda or Cody?
I was thinking Cody Caderyn (kay-drinne) but I'm drawing a blank for a middle name for Koda. Which do you prefer?
7 AnswersBaby Names6 years agoWould you find it strange to pronounce Caderyn this way?
I love how the name looks, but research tells me the name is pronounced kad-er-in. I kinda had my heart set on saying it cay-drinne, even though it kinda looks like cade-er-in. I feel like it's similar to Catherine: we don't say it cathe-er-ine. We say cath-rine, as if the e isn't there. So wouldn't Cay-drinne be fine?
5 AnswersBaby Names6 years agoThoughts on these names?
Luke Faolan and Demi Calypso
I'm in love with these two currently; how would you pronounce Faolan? I say it 'fah-oh-lahn' but it seems to have lots of different pronunciations.
4 AnswersBaby Names6 years agoHow do you say "Can you only say no?" in French?
I'm working on a story and I was guessing it was 'Pouvez-vous dire seulement non?' but I wanna be sure.
1 AnswerLanguages6 years agoWhat are your thoughts on these names for hypothetical triplets?
My friend says that if she ever has BBG triplets (which is highly unlikely anyway), she is going to name them Sokka, Aang and Katara after the Last Airbender characters. I kinda don't mind the idea, but she wants opinions on Katara Lauren, Sokka Drew and Aang's middle name pairing is to be either Trent or Tanner. (Which do you prefer?)
3 AnswersBaby Names6 years agoWill my new classes transfer from my school when I move to Florida?
I'm moving to Jacksonville, Florida from southern California and we are currently registering for our classes for next year at my school. I'm a freshman and I've signed up for AP European History, Enhanced Math 2, AP English, French 3, and I might end up in Honors Chemistry. Our forms are due in April and I really like how well my classes came out--but since we're moving, I'm worried I won't be able to get classes such as these at my new school (if they offer them of course). If my new school had all these courses, would they just transfer over for the beginning of the school year?
1 AnswerPrimary & Secondary Education6 years agoThoughts on Lydia?
I currently have Lydia Capri paired right now (Capri's a family middle name).
Everyone in my family keeps telling me how much they hate Lydia though. I think it's one of my favorite names. Do you hate it, like it? I really like the nicknames Lydie and Dia.
7 AnswersBaby Names6 years agoThoughts on these girls names?
Katara (kuh-tarr-uh)
Sakura (sah-kurr-uh)
Kallik (kahl-ikk)
Upon first sight, how did you pronounce them? Any thoughts/cons you'd like to mention?
9 AnswersBaby Names6 years agoCeilidh versus Cailey?
They're both pronounced the same. Ceilidh is the Gaelic spelling that sounds the same as Kaylee does. The only other spelling of Kaylee I care for could be Cailey, but I'm also very fond of Ceilidh. I get how tacky/trendy this name is already, but what're your thoughts of Ceilidh?
6 AnswersBaby Names6 years agoWhat do you prefer, Caroline or Catherine?

3 AnswersBaby Names6 years agoThoughts on the name Zenaide for a girl?
I've always loved this name and it's very unheard of. Pronounced as zehn.ayde I believe. What're your thoughts and how would you pronounce it upon first glance? Any middle names you'd like to throw in?
Thanks!
3 AnswersBaby Names6 years agoWhat're some things to do to improve a college resume to be an elementary school teacher?
I'm currently a freshman in high school and hope to become a third grade teacher in the future. I was wondering if anyone had any tips to strengthen my resume (what I could do to volunteer, etc.) I haven't a college in mind, unlike everyone else in my grade, but I'm trying to figure it out. Any advice? Thank you!
2 AnswersTeaching6 years agoElementary school teachers: where did you go to college?
I hope to be a second or third grade teacher someday and not sure where I'd like to attend college. Where did you go or would you recommend?

I have a cousin named Kaitlin, and I've know a Katelyn and a Kaitlyn.
12 AnswersBaby Names6 years agoOpinions on Luciana Deverelle for a girl?
I was looking through an old note of names I liked in search of a middle name for Luciana, and I found Deverelle. No idea where it came from or where I originally found it, but Google tells me it's just a variant of Deverell. I think it's pronounced as it's spelled, dev.err.elle. What do you think of it as a middle name for Luciana, and how would you pronounce it upon first glance?
