  • How to Move for a New Job with NO MONEY?

I currently live with my parents and I have a professional degree. The thing is, I have $0 in the bank account.

The problem is, I live near two state borders so employers want candidates with 3 licenses.

I need to get to the middle of the state, need to find a job, and I need to pay for everything up until my first paycheck.

After I get my first paycheck, I ll be set.

How do people do this normally?

  • Hearthstone - Should I Play IF NO MONEY?

So I played Hearthstone a long time ago and quit. I think there was one expansion out at that point.

I bought a bunch of booster packs and honestly don't remember how solid my decks were because I was new.

If I were to play the game again, should I use that old account or just start new?

Also... is it worth playing if I'm not planning on spending money? I felt so bad after dropping money on that game.

    Thanks.

  • Good PC Games Right Now - Looking for Sleeper Hits?

I want to play a game but I can't think of anything. I'm aware of most, if not all, Triple A titles like TW3, Dark Souls 1-3, TES, Fallout 1-4, etc.

I'm thinking about revisiting Divinity OS.

If you want to list anything, please do. I'd appreciate it. Even Peggle is a game that would help with boredom.

    Thanks.

  • Best Countries to Move to Permanently after Living in America?

I'm 30yo and I've lived in Southern USA all my life. The only language I know is English, but I can learn another language if needed.

As far as what I need. I need a place where I can find a livable wage and job security.

I have a professional degree from an accredited college but I hate my career. I want to change careers. I can live frugally, and I don't party nor drink. So, I'm not going to be wasting money.

I'm single. I have no children. I have nothing holding me here.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

  • Jobs in Japan - What's Suitable for a Foreigner?

I'm a 30yo single man with no children who has no plans to ever get married nor have children. I don't drink at all. I don't party. I don't spend nights out spending lots of cash.

I have a doctorate in pharmacy from America. The ONLY reason I'm pointing this out is simply because maybe it might look good on a resume. Maybe it wont! Maybe nobody will care.

I do NOT want a job related to pharmacy.

Now that all that is out of the way, here's the question...

IF Japan accepts me into their country, IF I learn the language and become fluent, and IF fate just so had it that I became a permanent resident, which probably wont happen according to everybody on Yahoo!Answers....

What type of jobs are there for a completely new foreigner that would potentially allow him to live a frugal lifestyle? FRUGAL... not wealthy... No fancy clothes, no romanticized view of the country...

Why do I want to POSSIBLY do this, which probably wont happen according to everybody on Yahoo!Answers? Because I hate my life, my career. I want a change, and I have nothing holding me here in America. I don't even live like a wealthy person here just because I don't want to.

So, if the degree means nothing then it means nothing.

Can I maybe work in a convenient store? Can I work at a train station? What is possible given that I want a cheap one-person apartment outside of the major cities?

  • Jobs in Japan - What's Suitable for a Foreigner?

I have lived in America all my life. I'm a pharmacist. I miserable. I hate my career, and I want to change everything. I want to move to Japan.

If I were to move to Japan, what kind of job could I get?

I have a doctorate in pharmacy from an accredited college. I want a job that will allow me to live affordably.

I do not have a family. I do not go out and party at all. I do not drink alcohol. I like being alone.

I would not go to Tokyo and party. I would not spend a lot of money. I just want to move there and experience the culture.

Assuming it turns into a permanent living place, what kind of jobs can I do to support myself?

  • Japan - Requirements to Teach English?

I'm 30-years-old and have grown up in America. I received a Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited college in 2012, and I am licensed to practice pharmacy in my state.

Will that be acceptable if I have a passion to move to Japan and teach English for a living? Will there be any other requirements?

I'm hoping I don't need a degree in education or a degree in English.

    Thank you.

  • Russia - The Truth about it's History and Who's Lying?

I am an American who knows very little about history in general. Before anybody tells me to read a book, well... I'd love to if I knew who was telling the truth. Also, I'm ignorant because I have spent all my years at school studying pharmacy. So, history has taken an unfortunate backseat to the sciences.

The general public acts as though Russia is the worst country ever. Why is that? Why can't we be their allies?

I feel like America is the problem and that Russia is not as evil as people are lead to believe.

  • My GF has a Slutty Past - I'm Insecure About It?

I grew up rather modestly. I went to church and had "sex is evil" hammered in my head until I went to college, where I became an atheist and started my real life studies. I worked really hard and became a pharmacist, which was 6 years of pure hell.

I have always known women throughout my life that had typical sex lives. Some were more sexual and some were more modest, but nothing really surprised me.

....until I met my girlfriend. My girlfriend was a super slut back in her college days. She had to keep notes on her men, marking check marks and writing in initials to keep up with who she slept with. She had 2 partners per day, one in the morning and one at night. She talks about parties and men getting her drunk and just... disgusting stuff. She was raped several times apparently. These are just stories that I can't listen to... I hate it.

I really care about her. She is amazingly intelligent, she is very smart, she's beautiful, she has a great job, and she's very responsible. She has a clean record, clear of STDs, one child but that's reasonable given our ages (I'm 28, she's 32).

When I think about it, I feel like I am physically hurting. My emotions are numb to it, but I can feel pain. I have no idea what to do. I have talked with her about it and she says that those were days when she was young and stupid. It still bothers me.

Does anybody have any experience with this?

  • Battery Life - Gameboy 3DS?

So I have a 3DS XL that I have rarely ever played. I have maybe 100 or so hours on it total.

I bought it within the last two years.

My question is, if the system has been sitting out for a very long time, does that hurt the battery life at all? I haven't tried it out. I'm going on a trip tomorrow and I just thought that I could bring it along and play some Monster Hunter 3 or something.

    Thanks.

  • Can Men and Women have a Platonic Relationship? - When asked, a man said "I'll just have to do like Crocodile Dundee" What does that mean?

I was talking to a man about if men and women could have a true platonic relationship or not. He responded no because it's just not his thing. I asked why and he said.

"I'll just have to do like Crocodile Dundee."

I don't understand the reference. I have Google searched quotes and look up movie plots. I don't understand. Can you please help me understand his answer?

    Thanks.

  • Am I addicted to hydrocodone?

I'm a 26-year-old guy. I have been taking hydrocodone 10mg daily for 2 weeks exactly. The high is minimal but I'm worried that I'm getting addicted.

I am going to stop right now. My question is, how long on average does somebody take hydrocodone to get addicted? I know people are prescribed 30 days of the med at a time and take it multiple times per day. Do they typically get addicted?

Any information would be appreciated. Thanks

  • Girlfriend Sad and I don't know what to do - Help please??

I met my girlfriend in October on a videogame. She's from Canada and I'm from Southern Ga. We talk daily and we care about each other greatly. She surprised me in December by telling me that she wanted to come down in May for one week to see me. Well I didn't really think it was the best idea at the time but I just went with it. All was well until now....

Financially, neither of us are really setup for this. And she admitted herself that May is coming faster than we had originally anticipated. So I basically said, "Yeah it might be better if we wait but I don't want you to think I don't want you coming down."

She is super upset, really sad, and just down. She did not take it well at all. I don't know what to do. The fact that she's upset bothers me and I keep trying to comfort her but it's not working.

    What do I do?

  • League of Legends - I'm terrible?

I seriously need some guidance on how to learn this game. I have been watching the League Championship Series on Twitch and have learned a lot but I still suck. I only play against bots.

I have trouble understanding item builds, champion roles, and overall skills. It's so overwhelming. There's so much information to grasp. It's like studying for college or something.

And the sad thing is, I graduated pharmacy school with a 3.1 GPA. Yet I cannot play a game that a vast majority of people play with ease. Can somebody give me some direction?

    Thanks

  • Self-Defense - .40 vs .45?

I know, I know... there are plenty of videos, forum conversations, and topics covering this topic. And I'm truly not trying to cause a flame war. I guess I'm just needing some justification for my weapon of choice. That must be my insecurity or something...

About 2 years ago, I bought my first handgun. I was totally new to self-defense weapons and I did some research. After a lot of thought, I chose a Glock 23 Gen4 because it was easy to disassemble, the rounds were cheaper than .45 rounds, and it was a really good fit for my small hands.

After reading a lot about guns, I was convinced that I needed a Colt 1911. So I bought one just to have one. However, I really don't like shooting it. I just don't feel like I have the control over it that I do with the Glock. Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful gun and I spent a LOT of money on it. So I keep it as a collectors piece.

But all this talk about how .45 is king bothers me. I carry my Glock and not my 1911. My main question is this...

Will my Glock .40 be able to handle what a .45 can? Will my gun be just as good as a .45. Sure, I *can* use my 1911 but I really don't want to. What do you think?

  • Mechanic Changed Tension Bolt - Now A/C doesn't work?

I brought my car (2010 Ford Focus SES - 80,000 mostly highway miles on it) to a local small business mechanic who is very reliable in my small town. I have never had any trouble with them before and their prices are always reasonable.

However, I had a problem with the car accelerating and making noise and they discovered that I had a defective tension bolt. So they replaced the tension bolt, the tension belt, changed a tire, and fixed my oil. They did a great job with everything.... except...

My A/C did not work. The air blows through the car but it's hot. So I called them and they said that they must have "knocked a line loose." So I brought it back and within 5 minutes, they had me out the door and on the road. My A/C worked but it was warmer than usual. However, I thought that I was just being irrational because it was 95 degrees outside and I thought that may have been why.

Didn't drive my car again until just now. It's cooler outside and not only does my A/C not work, it's making a weird noise like air leaking from a container. It's a weird sound and only happens when I turn my A/C on. When I turn it off, the sound goes away.

Does anybody know what may have caused this? My A/C was fine before I brought it to this mechanic.
