Look, I am in shock that ANYONE would suggest that SEAN TAYLOR deserves to be on the COVER of Madden 09' as opposed to Brett Favre, or anyone else.

The fact of the matter is that Sean Taylor was a DECENT player, however, the is NO WAY that he was on the same level as ANYONE else who has graced the cover of Madden. He only made the Pro Bowl once on his own merrits and was vastly inconsistant in 2006. Aside from being ONLY a marginally good player, he came with on and off the field issues and baggage and was of questionable charater as well.

It is sad that someone murdered Sean Taylor, a down right travesty, so everyone (fans) banded together and voted him to his second pro bowl, and everyone (players) wore his number for the season... and that was it, as well it should be aside from anything else the Skins need to do, it's over.

What did Taylor do that was football related that was worthy of the Madden Cover??? Aside from being a tragic story of loss, which to me isn't enough.

How about your ROUGH & TOUGH Seattle Defense that allowed 2 ROOKIES to rush for 235 yards? Or got torched by FAVRE for 173 yards and 3 TD's? How about Pat Kerney, who was going to light Favre up?
