girl i met about 4 weeks ago, we hooked up the first night, just made out a bunch, didnt do anything else. but in between then and now, we had been texting and talking like lovers. however, 2 weekends ago, she told me that there was this guy that she had been talking to for like 5 months, and last weekend, he asked her to be his girlfriend, and she said yes. i was pretty mad, sad and confused when she told me. however, even the night she told me, she still calls me boo, baby, sends kiss faces and all that. and we met up after work on saturday, got froyo and hooked up again that night. and she still calls me baby. i really like this girl, and she tells me she has feelings as well, but doesnt want a relationship with me because of distance (I go to school in NYC, and she lives just outside of Philly) unless she transfers here next year.

What should i think of this?

Should i do anything?

Should i give up?

Should i tell her to either dump me or her guy?

So, I met this girl a few weeks ago while she was visiting a friend at my university in NYC. She is from Pennsylvania, about an hour from my hometown also in pennsylvania. We, really hit it off, right from the jump, and we "hooked up" the first night we met, and have been talking ever since. We both like each other a whole lot, and we've discussed this, too. She told me a few days ago that there is this boy she 'has been talking to for the last 5 months' but 'its not like that' she says. He's in high school while she's at community college in the area. She went to homecoming with the kid last night, and a movie with the same kid tonight. I cannot help but think she is doing things with this kid, but we still talk like lovebirds. She seems to be okay with what it is between us, and that comforts me. But my mind can't help from wandering, and think of the worst (of course). she told me she would call me when the movie was over, and we could talk on the phone (because we both said we love hearing each other's voices). However, she had work until either 10 or 11, and i havent gotten anything yet and i am panicking.

Can someone please comfort me or give me some advice on how to handle this? Also, i'm meeting up with her this friday to have a day in Philly with her. Should i just chill out and wait for my chance Friday? Or take affirmative action now??

Long story short, I quit my job I was supposed to have all summer and my brother was supposed to work at the same place that I quit from and we were going to carpool using my car. Now my brother is just going to be working there so my parents took my car away from me and are letting him use it because they are pissed at me. I now need a car and a job, but my parents tell me that theyd have to pay for insurance if I bought a cheap car. they say I should walk or ride my bike to work somewhere closeby, but all the places near me suck. so I want to buy a car for like $800 and my parents wont let me because insurance will be too much.

SO

does a car need to be insured to be driven daily like to work and stuff like that? I would be parking on my street in my neighborhood, and I live in PA if that means anything.

I've got this book I've been working on for quite awhile now and I am pretty far into it. I would love to send it to a company that publishes books to see what they think of it. I looked up book publishers on google and didn't really find anything that great. Could someone point me in the right direction?

Doesn't necessarily need to be a website, maybe some store locally or something in the area. I'm located in the Lehigh Valley, PA and would be willing to travel to a company based in Philadelphia, New York and D.C. if need be. I know Scotland has their own flag and all of that, but I read an article that said that Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland are all technically part of the United Kingdom as provinces, which I don't think is true. I just recently learned in my global studies class that Ireland and Northern Ireland are officially both countries. When I saw that they were all technically provinces of the UK, I did not believe it. I mean, I guess that it could be like the US and Puerto Rico situation. I, being a citizen of the united states think of PR as a country by itself, even though it is a province of the US.

Is it the same as Scotland with the UK.

I had always believed Scotland to be a country, but not Wales. I never really knew what Wales was, if it was a city or province or country. I always thought Scotland was part of Scandinavia with Sweden, Norway and Finland but I guess I was wrong.

Is Scotland a country. An independent country just like any one you can think of; China Russia etc whatever

there is this girl, i guess you could call her the girl next door ;). i live in a residential area where everybody has yards and everything so its not like we are apartment neighbors. we are both 17 and ive known her for about 8-9 years.

when we were younger, she was a pretty good friend of mine and a few other neighborhood kids and she was kind of a tomboy. she would always play baseball and basketball and even football with us.

i never used to like her like i do now but now i do.

i just cant see my telling my friends that my girlfriend is my neighbor. i really like her but its like my parents and her parents would know what we were doing ALL THE TIME.

its a black 1993 Toyota Paseo coupe/hatchback. the car is listed for $2200. thats not what im worried about.

this Paseo looks to have nothing wrong with it, and the owner claims nothing is wrong with it cosmetically and running wise. the main thing im worried about it that the car, which again is a 1993, has only 45,000 miles / 72450kms.

it just seems a little fishy.

i know toyota cars are very good and reliable and most likely to go to 170k+. i just am not sure if there is a scam somewhere involved, because the low mileage and it is 19 years old.

i need a slogan for a rivalry high school basketball game coming up. They call themselves the Freedom Family. Their name is the freedom patriots and we are the LIberty Hurricanes. Every year whichever school does better in sports gets something called the Bethlehem Bell. Such as last year, we had the slogan "Its Nacho Bell!" instead of taco bell.
