Why is it that so many questions in the "Running" category are asked on Y! when the answer is as simple as "ask your coach." This of course only refers to questions by people who are on track/xc teams, i'm not talking about people who don't have coaches to ask. But seriously, Yahoo Answers shouldn't be the first place a person goes to get a question answered, especially a simple one. Thoughts?

I am running the open 200m and 400m at a meet today and this is the first time I have done either. I am a 800/1500/5000 runner, but my summer coach wants me and a friend of mine to do this for a speed workout. I have never used blocks before so can anyone give me some tips on setting them up/using them?

...or does football seem to have deteriorated into a show of acting, cheating, and bias. Watching the U-20 World Cup I have seen incredible acts by players who are diving to draw fouls all over the place. It came to a head in the Canada-Chile match today when a Chilean player collided with a Canadian. He fell to the ground and appeared to be in agony to such a point that he was taken off on a stretcher. Less than 3 minutes later he was up, fine and wanted back into the game. What is up with football these days?

Does anyone seriously care about the 2012 Olympics logo? It has no affect on the games themselves so I don't think it matters. Also, why do people find that they need to post basically the same question ten times?

Is it explicitly illegal, or is it just discouraged and unsafe?
