Ive been talking to this girl in my class for a while now. On tuesday I asked if she wanted to hang out sometime she said yes and gave me her number. She started telling me about this smoothie bar she likes I suggested we go there. I suggested this weekend but she said she was going away with her family and said shed let me know when she was free. I texted her casually over the last two days. She sometimes takes a while to answer back though, the longest being 5 hrs she says she never near her phone. Today we had a break after our class I went and sat by my next class which is on the opposite side of the building as hers. I never told her where I was gonna be she came and sat next to me and we chatted for a while and her friend also joined us. When her friend left she left as well saying she had to go talk to her professor whom she was having problems with. However, she came back 5 mins later and talked to me again some more. I texted her today asking how things went with her prof and she hasn't answered back and that was 6 hours ago and i know shes not busy with work or anything. I'm so confused I really like her but I'm not sure if shes does me.

My girlfriend and I have been in a relationship for 2.5 years. It has always been a strained one. I believe she loves me but I'm not sure if I love her or just love being in a relationship. We don't share many interests and I find myself constantly thinking, would I be happier with someone else but I don't want to hurt her. I know I can't keep stringing her along. I'm also really afraid of being alone which I know I shouldn't be but its scary. Has anyone ever been through this? I could really use some advice.
